    It just came to my attention that Andy Gill, guitarist and founding member of the Gang Of Four passed away on the 1st of February.
    Andy's wild guitar sounds and Dave Allen's upfront basslines, Gang of Four's post punk aesthetic and funk influences kept me company along with the rest of the new wave bands i was keenly listening to as i was growing up in the late 70s-early 80s.
    Rest in peace mate.

    R.I.P. Andy Gill. I remember mixing "I love a man in a uniform" with songs like "Let me go" by Heaven 17.
