If you use the search function you will find a lot of information about installing Omnisphere.

Did eerything then when I tried to open Omnisphere it said "Installation was not completeed properly, needs to be upgraded to version 2." Can I get some help with that please if anyone knows?Think im almost there to get it working guys :D thanks for al the help!

 

I erasured all files which get installed and moved some other files and then it worked, but i cant say why. I only know that its because of the steam data in my case, which wasnt install in the installation process. U will see that it works when you do the first installation step and it needs more time to install, because of all the steam data files. I self need help because I tried to activate Omnisphere before authorize the product in my account and now "The upgrade code you entered is not valid." :/ so dont do the same mistake

 

but you did not wrote anything about ( what kind of help you need ? )

I think it's time to add the word "omnisphere" in a blacklist and also prevent newbies from creating threads if the word "omnisphere" is in the title.
...and prevent creating any threads first 24 hours after registration - maybe then they will start using the search?

 

All of these new Spectrasonics threads by newbies are nothing more than the result of laziness. I have said this 100s of times: Every known solution to Spectrasonics problems and installations have been discussed on this Forum. 99.99999% of the time is user's errors. And people are too lazy to use the search option.

 

At least he got two things right, the annoying part and the given up!

Wannabe producers who don`t bother or know how to use a search.
They want it delivered on a silver platter...

And on top of that, they cant read and follow instructions. I wrote detailed instructions in English with those releases, and yet, they can't understand them. Next time, I will write them in my native tongue, Russian. That will drive them fucking nuts. One thing about this thread that gives some leash to the OP is the fact that there seems a lot of problems with MAC installs. With that said, there are instructions for it here and on AudioZ written by members that use that OS.

When I open it, it keeps asking for the authentication after I paste the challenge code and reset my DAW. I don't know what I am doing wrong, it's weird but I can't keep letting this frustrate me. Thanks for all the help everyone, it's well appreciated really. Sorry for the noobiness!

 

Your getting that cause youve only installed the setup disk and not the library its telling you to update your library database
you install all 6 Disc? i doubt it if your seeing this below

Remember to patch the omnisphere dll , and apply any soundsource or software updates in the correct order , before attempting to authorise!!!

I was not bashing the thread. I was bashing you and everyone else that continues to open threads like this. Asking the same questions over and over. You even mentioned in your threads title that you know this must be annoying so be happy that some members here were kind enough to help you, and stop burning bridges with your comments.

 

I don't want any problems or smoke from you guys really, I just want to get omnisphere to work for me. I'm not even a begger or anything like that, you guys are just blowing this out of proportion.
