It's easier to improve at mixing/mastering than at composing man, keep it up

I'd like to say that I love this song.... I almost do!
I think the verses are masterfully produced and the ambience is pretty serene with a lovely melody, but the chorus "Take me home" just takes that lovely relaxed feeling away.
To my ears (and this is only a view point from my ears perspective) The chorus is way too compressed and pretty ear fatiguing!
I can almost feel the pressure build up in my ear canals and it's just too much.
Personally, I would lower the compression ratios at the choruses.
I'm a 52 yr old guy who's ears have heard better days so what do I know?
Good song but needs a wee bit more care with overall production.

Despite all the stuff with compression and so on,, I believe that your song has the potential to be a hit and I wouldn't be too surprised if we were listening it on radio this summer.

nice song it's got all the elements but to my ears (might be my monitors Rokit 5) too much reverb and crackle take it down a bit and make the voice more prominent
