i started using fl studio on windows and now have moved to logic pro x on mac
i know there is fl studio available on mac but i prefer using logic

my issue is i can't find a decent VST with fl studio type of drum sequencer
i have tried Ultra beat but its not what im looking for.

i have troubling installing XLN XO, and Geist 2 on my mac

are there any alternatives

fun fact, I actually used to use Cubase as main DAW and used FL Studio only to program drums, as I've seen Orjan Nilsen doing it this way as well.
However, it felt unecessarely complicated with routing etc. and I've seen Orjan Nilsen stoped programming drums this way as well, but I agree that FL Studio Drum programming workflow is one of the best I've tried.

I really am not a fan of pattern systems and sequenced drum machines use that, however, doesnt Logic Pro have a piano roll that can be changed to drum mode, so you only place 1 shots instead of notes?
If yes, all you need is a sampler, get all notes out from the piano roll that are not used with filter option and then you pretty much have the familiar workflow like in FL studio, except that you need to name your events to keep things organized.

I think "Geist 2" should be the thing your looking for if you really want a VST for the process
