Watermarked VSTs?

    Hey together!

    I recently bought a VST which is quite cheap but does a decent job for what it is intended to do.

    Since money is a serious issue for some people and not everyone can buy plugins for testing purposes (no matter how cheap they are), I would like to offer it on the sister site.

    There is no protection in form of serials or other authorization.
    But I'm not sure if the VST is watermarked (as it is often the case with eBooks etc.) and thus allows conclusions about its buyer (me). Is there a way to verify that this is not the case?

    As much as I would like to give something back to this community, the less I would like to get legal problems for it.

    I would be very happy about qualified answers!
