I am wanting to begin a habit of spending at least 30 minutes a day learning to play the piano properly so I can move beyond my basic quarter note triad chords that are self taught (and probably a weird inversion as a result ). I am also wanting to learn so I can improve my improvisation when writing music.

Any free or decent iPad apps out there at all? I have a decent 88 key digital fully weighted piano sitting in my studio, so will be planning to learn on that. Anyone tried apps like Yousician, Playground Sessions etc? Any decent free ones? Playground Sessions looks good, but requires a subscription obviously....free would be best if possible :)

And on the same note (no pun intended), anyone here picked up the Really Useful Piano or Chord Progression Poster? Looks good for someone like me, who can’t read music whatsoever (but do play guitar, bass and drums and have done so for years).
