If you go for BEST I would vote for Steinberg's Hypersonic 2. It's the main reason I like the 32 bit bridge.

    @Pinkman
I'm not being funny, but...it's usually white people dem that get muddled up!
I'm white, but grew up in a very multi-racial situation.

I also think so...but its also very interesting. I really always thought "baddest" is only a false comparative of "bad" like germans would use it.

Antares Auto Tune. Ridiculed music schools and teachers, deprived vocal students and singers of their natural instincts.
Likely to completely destroy the world of public taste and everybody's sense of pitch.
    A real Armageddon VST.

That puzzled me too, but even for English slang baddest is not as used as bad-assest. I've heard or read the latter several times. Not a native english speaker myself (see my sig lol) but after watching "The Wire" twice I'm quite familiar with slang of this kind

The following is already basic, but just in case: roughly speaking bad-ass means tough (person or thing), without more context it usually means a positive thing. That also happens in several languages.

Not that is very used but I'm sure of it. And not necessarily in "the wire", that was just an example. The more common thing is most bad-ass.
Since I'm sure, you can just check it in the urban dictionary for instance.

i guess its non native misunderstanding that it emerged from bad ass , that baddest is since 30 years a vice versa term

That's right. Take for instance just one of the words with more slang variations. Joint.
Just with that you'll find almost every neighborhood has its own couple of unique slang names.

Correct. Originally meaning a venue of some sort, then a marijuana cigarette, then a song/track.
    Yes to 'most badass", btw.

Yes, from 'Jay' or 'J' for joint. But 'Jason' sounds way less 'bait' to say in public! lol
I don't know if I'd say I want to suck on a Jason though. But each to his/her own!

haha I was talking only of the laugh cigarette joint. The other meanings have much less slang.

Are we still talking about joints here? Context sure matters man...

If you talk to people from NY, black or white, they use all 3 of the examples I gave!
Plus, I gave them to you in historical order, coz I can!
