Hi, I'm wondering how to make the lead sound in this song is at 54 seconds ? Is this a pitched vocal sound or can i get the setting on preset on a vst ?

    Thanks for your help.

Actually should not be too hard. I'm no synth expert, but it sounds like a basic sine wave with the attack turned up slightly, portamento set to slightly above 0 (~18 ms) and vibrato on. There's likely some additional FX to tweak it, but that would be my best guess to start.

I'm following this too. It sounds like some vocal chops with modulation fx somehow.

I'm hoping someone chimes in with a plugin that does this!!

Sounds for me like a Vocal Chop stretched, high pitched and added some pitch modulation > Pitchbend

I would use serum for this

Yeah, what this one said - it's the lead vocalist's voice originally recorded at a "normal" pitch, then pitched up after that, re-triggered either with a sampler or the audio was copy/pasted. Effects added to make it more punchy/edgy. Difficulty Level: like boiling an egg.

it certainly has some "air" in it.
I would use a gentle piece of vocals, make a smooth lead out of it and layer with a very gentle and airy flute sound as well that brings out some air, mix it slightly underneath so you can barely notice it in the mix, like you would do with a gentle reverb.
But the attack of the sound sounds like someone is blowing into a flute.

I wouldnt be surprised if that sound was an actual preset from "Output - Exhale"

Thanks for all the responses. I especially liked the recommendation for the vst Output-Exhale. Can anyone recommend a good vocal drop tutorial on youtube to get a similar sound to the one in the video. The reason I liked the Martin Garrix song is that the lead sounded more like an instrument compared to other popular songs where its very clearly a vocal that's been altered.
