Ymmv, but the worst vsti I've played was Light And Sound's Concert Grand.
And this is specifically 'playing' it that I'm talking about, because otherwise the sound and all the mic options are awesome.
But there weren't enough velocity layers on the lower register, and even piano-roll/event list editing wouldn't help. I just want to be able to play what I am feeling, and this piano lib isn't quite there yet.
Hopefully they'll update it with more samples. Probably means re-recording it though, so maybe it will never get fixed.

Gyro, you may be correct with Saxlab. It looks cool and I kept thinking I must be using it wrong. But no matter what I did it just sounded like a kazoo.

Yes I see...but now you used the wrong comparatve (baddest) and the correct one (worst). I guess you wanna know "Whats the best and the worst VST/VSTi you ever used", dont you? Or in german "Welches ist das beste und welches das schlechteste VST/VSTi, das Du jemals benutzt hast?" So wie der Titel im Moment da steht, fragst Du quasi 2 mal nach dem schlechtesten (einmal mit dem falschen Wort "baddest" und einmal mit dem richtigen "worst".

My two all time favorite instruments are Omnisphere and Reaktor. These are my "desert" synths. If i had to name just one i 'd go for Omni. But surely when it comes to software, Reaktor is the mother of all things modular so it grabs my 2nd favorite. For vst plugs i'd agree with @The Pirate - Melodyne is by far the most badass-game changer- plug to ever appear, even more than the original Autotune back in the day. True science baby :)

No, you're wrong - it's not irritating whatsoever for a native English speaker to say "easiest" instead of the incorrect "most easy". Just like in English "most funny" would almost never be used in place of "funniest", or "most ugly" instead of "ugliest". Your point of view is based upon your lack of knowledge and not being a native speaker. "Baddest" is like an informal description of a person ("he was the baddest criminal I ever knew in prison"), it's not used for an object or a plugin. "Worst" is the correct word. At least in English they never made any words so stupidly long like the German "Donaudampfschiffahrtselektrizitätenhauptbetriebswerkbauunterbeamtengesellschaft".... FFS.:bleh:

i ask for greateset and worst now...i thought cause i used 2 times THE...the baddest and the worst....its not like the baddest and worst at same time plugin..i thought...
i kno your were joking but the word's max get the half of lenght of this
german is one of the most on point language ...english is not so on point at all...and not so modular heh heh..
a russian with 12 cases in language or a asian may criticize german but no english man without even fem male and the need of use of sir to make it formal
but business english and laywer english makes english to the worlds biggest word treasure language

baddest is a legit word for great , since ppl posted the baddest and the worst i adapted the thread...

So how would be this in english? "Donau steam shipping company electicity main company building contractors officials society" In german we are able to build words as much and as long as we want and everybody knows this is 1 word and term...in english everything has to be seperated and in the end noone knows what you mean. :winker:

    https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=baddest

I thing some people here thought you mean "bad ass" in the meaning like (in german) "Krassester Wichser" so use a bad word in a positive way...to show admiration.

It's all good (which in English, means OK (okay)).

English is proper weird and beautiful at the same time.
American/Gansta English is crazy stupid; And yet so poetic.

What up yo. Peace. You feel me?

Yes..its peace between us! But just one question as you seem to be a native english speaker or at least very good in english. Is "baddest" a really a synonym for "really cool" or "best"? I understand that you can use "bad ass" in a positive meaning...but "baddest"?

It's called 'Legalese', and the words have a totally different meaning to their original usage! That's how they fuck us.
Correction: "What up, y'all?" (you all). Although I hear a lot of kids mistake this in the same way nowadays.
Btw, probably from "Word up, y'all", as in listen to what I'm going to say.
Yo is a greeting. Maybe it even came from shouting "y'all!" to a group of friends across the street?
So there are different generations using the same slang words differently now.

Yes, it is now. At least for 30+ years I'd say.
Quote from Prince's 'Housequake' from 1988: "We got the baddest jam in the land". (4 bars (or 5.5 bars for yo' pedantic bitch-ass!) from end of track, y'all.

@lukehh We are all artists and poets in our own ways. Say what we will.
The word 'baddest' has never been in my vocabulary, so kudos to @Gyro Gearloose.

EDIT: Just realized: "baddest dude in town...", "that's the baddest flick I've ever seen...", ""she had the baddest ass...ever..."

@Smoove Grooves It reinforces the greeting. It doubles hello. I get what you mean but you can't "y'all" one person.
All that being said...you are correct and I love you, bitch.

I'm sure you're not a bitch but that's what I said on the show. Always with the "bitch".

Word. Agreed. Kind of my point, too. Because yo does get used where y'all should be used. I heard a kid walking in to McD's saying to his mates "Ima get me one a dem wraps, yo". :deep_facepalm: He obviously means y'all. And I hear this all the time.
But I totally don't get your "double hello" thing. What is the point in saying 'what's up? and then 'hello'? Or even 'word up, hello'? I don't get it. Dayum bitch, that's some stupid shit right there. Proving my point that, re. your double greeting, it came from 'y'all'. :guru:
