Hello. I have a problem and at the same time a question: Is everything ok with the sound of this vocal? This is WA87 and it seems to be not working as it should. Vocals without mix.

 

What's wrong with it? I hear nothing wrong.
WA87 is a great mic.

It's not distant or lacking detail. It's perfectly fine starting-point for further vocal processing. You have de-essing, limiter, compression, parallel compression, parallel (and EQ/filtered) saturation/distortion, doubler/MicroShift/H3000 widening, reverb, delay, etc.

 

Jeśli chodzi o przetwarzanie, nie mam z tym problemu. Wydawało mi się, że to nie brzmi tak, jak powinno.

 

I think the same @Baxter. I listen normal vocal. No probelms. Only need put a desser. Cause i listen much "sssss"

 

Since some pop sound are audible he can't have been too far away from the mic.

I can't hear any significant issues regarding the mic either.

@ryck I agree. De-esser, a tad more compression, saturation and it's in the ballpark. Then we need to hear the context (music/beat/track).
