We all know that to achieve a fast workflow it is essential to have all your tools close together!
That is why we still like to have controllers or consoles at hand. The same applies to working with DAWs:
Ableton Live and Bitwig Studio have demonstrated this and since i came across LBX stripper a few weeks ago, i have also been benefiting from this concept in Reaper.

LBX Stripper is a script dockable to Reaper's main window that allows you to build your own plugin UIs or channelstrips for plugin chains.
It also provides an internal channel mixer, send faders, a channel organizer, up to 64 modulator LFOs, configurable action trigger buttons, a multichannel frequency analyzer, oscilloscope, spectograph, and so much more. Everything in one place and with direct hotkey access! It's a beast !!!

There is also a Strip-Pack called Fast Access Pack, which is constantly updated with new plugin UIs!
At this moment this pack supports about 600 plugins:
    • All JS and Cockos plugins
    • All FabFilter (vst2)
    • All MeldaProduction v14.02 (vst3)
    • All Valhalla (vst2)
    • All SoundToys except Little Plate (vst2)
    • All AirWindows (vst2)

In addition to this there is an expansion pack I made called JS Dynamics ZenoMOD Pack with modified JS plugins, which adds more features to the whole thing.
Color-coded buttons and knobs, precise GR meters for all JS Dynamics, a precise VU meter, correlation meter etc.
And that's not all ! The additional parameters added to the JS modifications open up completely new possibilities:
Have you ever used the swinging of a VU needle as a trigger for compression? ;)

Yes, these Share Strips for the Dynamic Mode are the start of something really beautiful.

    1) They remind me of Ableton's look and feel.
    2) They provide beautiful alternate views of the native JS fx (thank God!).
    3) We can now have some ergonomically easy-to-use/view channel strip combinations.

Now I'd like to start seeing combinations of JS Plugins for console and channel strip emulations.

First of all, it requires JS plugins that emulate parts of a particular console reasonably well. IMO only then it is worth building consoles in the stripper. The coding of emulations is better left to the coders who can do it.
I prefer to concentrate on modifying individual JS to increase their use.

The ZenoMod-Strip family has got a small addition:
Loser's Saturation (modification with automatic volume compensation)

    Now they're twins!
Both Plugins are modified to automatically compensate the volume

I use the E27 on just about everything.
Not on every track and maybe not on a piano or something.
but generally it's one of my go-to's.
vox, bass, synths, drums... this kind of stuff.
It's perfect for moving things forward
and it's almost impossible to make it sound bad.

Congrats on your system. PSP E27 sucks on the CPU like a porn star (round about six times as much as EQuilibrium does).

I can't tell you. I just know that the old xeon servers are still good.
Although i've been keeping an eye on the new amd systems. They're just cheaper in the long run.
