What kind of protection is plugin alliance use?

I'd be the happiest person alive, if R2R defeat the latest protection by pa, and release the newest plugins, they are the best in business, especially the amps, I'm hungry for those amps, guys like us who doesn't have access to real analog hardware amps would take those amps any day any time, don't forget the STL amps, i just legitimate wish that.

Hey just wanted to make sure you are aware that you can get a monthly subscription and get the 100 plugin bundle for 20 bucks a month now..

 

One thing I recently found out is that with PA you get "only" seven deactivations per plugin. So most of the paid plugins allow three machines to be activated. If you want to activate a fourth, you have to deactivate one of the three first. You can do such a deactivation seven times. After that you are supposed to buy a new license. I mean if you use your computers for more than one or two years then you're good to go for ten years. But still, when I found out about this, it left a sour taste behind. Other than that I love PA as a company and love spending money with them.

if you were in the community long enough, u would remember when we routinely got allllll of the Plugin Alliance plugins... every single update... Brainworx, SPL, Maag, all of it... then that new shit came out at the time that the Acme Optical compressor came out and that new saturation plugin (amongst others). The PA devices were no longer released... that is "externally." Internally they still were available.

Of course they did release some of the newer PA plugins... not SPL or Brainworx... one of the newer brands... the ones that look like childish Ableton gui's.

As a spoiled rotten community member, i bitched and complained back then. I needed to check my plugin addiction anyway, so it worked out for the better.
