I don't know much about how it works but I'm a total noob when it comes to understanding the history

1. Do cracker teams get paid to not release for one OS and let the other one fly?
2. Do they hate one OS so bad they don't release as much good stuff as they do for the other?
3. Is there another reason I don't know for why one OS gets all the goods and one gets fewer things?

 

The only reason is the much higher diffusion of windows compared to Mac.
It's been that way since ever.

Point 1 is pure smoking conspiration theory.
Every time someone speak about team being paid not to crack it's because you don't go to the end of the matter.
The day that a team accept money directly related to their cracking activity, they take a ticket to jail...
That's why they don't even accept donations.
