Now's a good time because you have a few days before it becomes 199 euro instead of 149..Unless they keep selling version 1. The update with be 199 though

Well, i remember that Groove3 did a tutorial about Oeksound Soothe. should find some just searching this: Groove3 oeksound soothe Explained
Btw, did U tried with a dynamic eq? Fabfilter like? Oxford and so on or a multi band compressor?
    Hope u solve it.

Yeah I solved it. Basically, I just left the tom mics wide open and picked up a lot of cymbal from there, high passed the overheads pretty heavily and notched them a couple places and all was well. I did dl the soothe demo though, haven't installed it yet.

Interesting that the tom mic picked up so much sizzle being off axis, though I digress. Funky room?

Anyway, a notch filter side chained, keyed to clamp down the compressor when it hits, adjusted for release to taste, or of course a dynamic EQ set up the same way.
