I have a legit license for SynthMaster One, but I dont want to use their license system, so I'm still using the v1.3.4 CE-V.R cracked version from VR.

While I was trying to know where the wave tables were stored, I opened a file called SynthMasterOneConfig.txt that is located in C:\Program Files\VstPlugins\KV331 Audio\Config to see if I could find the wavetable path.

Or maybe it was C:\Users\XXXX\Documents\SynthMasterOne\SynthMasterOneConfig.txt

I'm not sure now.

I opened it with Notepad ++ which has an autosave function.
I haven't change any thing to this file though.

But since then, SynthMaster One does not open. Reaper freezes while trying to open it.

Of course, I've try to re-install, delete everything and install again, etc ...

I'd like to go on using SynthMaster One that way, so any help is welcome.

Maybe the extension is wrong? Try to change from .txt to .cfg 'Could' be working. Perhaps Notepad changed it.

Edit: Nevermind, just realized that you deleted and reinstalled Synthmaster so this ^^ can't be the problem

There must be a completely different cause:
1. If you have deleted all corresponding files and reinstalled it, it should be ok.
2. I renamed the config file and could still open the synth and play it.
