maybe because you don't have 2 stupid frames in the middle of your view.

 

The only advantage is the USB C connection compare to the one I have . It works perfectly with the adapter, I reckon,it would be easier but it is ok for me. If someone is looking for this kind of screen, then, of course, the new model would be better...but it is also pricey compared to mine...

 

Nice set up. I also use an ultrawide monitor.

I'd love to be able to have an ultrawide placed at an angle underneath a higher vertical resolution monitor, but have not found an ideal setup for that yet. Mix window and/or effects on the ultrawide and the edit window on the higher vert monitor. so you don't have to constantly scroll up and down.

 

Im running a 50 inch 4k Sony HDTV, suits my needs. No, it isnt a monitor, but works great and ran me $600

 

did you actually look at the specs?

the new model has 5120x1440p resolution vs chg's 3840 X 1080 . it's worth the difference just for that.

 

Wasn’t checking the correct one!Reason why the new one is well more expensive then!Not sure though,just for the music,If I could see the difference.Maybe for those who use the screen for videos/photos ,it probably makes a difference.

Thank for sharing your experience with us, this is too much for me, I have tested two screens monitor for audio working, but it was too much as well i like to work on a single monitor but not too large as your, I'm more focused on small monitor, it's my own opinion, I think i'm my brain is too limited to work on bigger screen monitor, actually i have a old samsung syncmaster215tw at 1680x1050 resolution and for approximatively 10 years i'm happy with it =)

 

We are talking about confort.If you are happy this way,that’s great.As I said,I was really annoyed by my 2 27 inches screen.This one brings me more confort and I’m very happy to work with it,it is really a pleasure to be seat in front of it...which is the aim!
