cool idea

i think the guitar part (strumming ) you should have a better recording( different mic or different guitar) or get better guitar samples.

as it is ( instrumental ) it´s perfect for a movie soundtrack, if you decide to put some vocals , you should add a different melody line.

anyway, just my opinion

Yup, the guitar was recorded with a kinda cheap mic, as it's the only one i have right now.

 

even with a cheap mic you can get a good sound

first , make sure you tunned well your guitar,

second, point your mic to the sweet spot around the 12th fret and record to a mono track.

then you should eq to fit the track. it´s sounds a bit boomy in your song, the guitar feels apart from the rest of the mix, because you did a good mixing job with the rest of the instruments\sounds.
