Those not being born, etc...Rest in peace to the beat, Neil!

I always thought it odd, that while recognizing the total awesomeness of the band Rush, the superlative musicianship as well as high quality of songwriting, that I cannot stand to listen to them for more than like half a song. So, although I myself am nowhere close to the being born side of the equation, there might still be some time and wiggle room for the band to get under my skin.

 

Isn't that Nick Mason of Pink Floyd in the pic above?

Anyhow, that really sucks about Neil. He finally got to retire, but then found out he had brain cancer a year and a half later. This is on top of everything else he went through in the late 90's.

Hi work was done and he wanted to move on to the next thing. Don't be sad, instead celebrate his life and contributions.
