I feel like I'm missing something? This looks like what Ableton's instrument racks have been doing for the past decade. Or FL's patcher.

To me it's mainly about the sounds as it seems. Although I miss more info about what's included.

Thank you for pointing me at this!

@5teezo Makes sense, brother. You know, for all this Mac use I have, I still haven't gotten into Logic. I'm starting to think it may be worth the learning curve.

@Polomo His Omnisphere patches can get pretty intense. I think that's pretty cool, yeah?

Bummer: no OSX Catalina compatibility (yet).
Otherwise, i would have drawn my wallet right away.
Fingers crossed for a fast Catalina fix.

The learning curve isn't that steep actually. I think it's the next easiest DAW to learn after Ableton Live. Do you want a Template with integrated Machine plugin routed to get you started? Send me a dm and I'll send you a dl link if you're interested.

Been rocking Unify for a week now. Found some bugs but had a lot of fun creating instrument chains and having funk playing with sounds.

Unify is probably the most useful plugin/instrument I bought since 2014 which was xfer Serum.

I didn't buy it for the patches at all since I am not a fan of the sound aesthethics of the pluginguru patches.

I bought it because there's no similar thing like it out which can host layers and layers of instruments from different vendors plus midi fx plus fx inserts plus sends returns plus master effects in one reduced functional container.and on top of that you can use it as a vst wrapper in Logic.

I can understand that Ableton Libe and Reason users have no use for this but For Cubase, Logic and Maschine it's an incredible low-priced gem.

I bet Waves or Plugin Alliances would charge 249 for this. But they wouldn't even do this to protect their brands. Since Pluginguru is independent he can create a plugin which is open to every vendor's products. And that's a novelty these days where everyone is trying to box you in in their own closed eco system: like iOS, Spotify, apple music, app store, play store, plugin alliance, waves, slate, Avid, adobe... The list goes on. So instead about complaining about the look of the GUI we should appreciate the gesture of trying to lift the lock on the current status quo.

Awesome app. Best buy of the year. And..it's just the beginning of a very versatile app with a million of possibilities. Skippy, Shane and Airwave are a great bunch of code and sound developers. Many updates are already planned not to mention the development of a "professional" Unify with a full featured sampler..however that takes a little while as they said. Absolute worth buying guys!!

Unify is not the first application that allows "mixing" but seems to be the most successful to date.:guru:
:wink:Unify is to Plugins what Midi was to instruments.:like:

Indeed this is like the good old Xlutop Chainer, and the many others that came after it, but spruced up for the latest generation.

"For nearly a year, I've been working on my first commercial music software product, called Unify. This may be of some interest to readers of this blog, because the "Pro" version of the product will have NetVST technology built-in."

    http://netvst.org/blog/2019/09/unify-commercial-product-with-netvst-built-in

This could mean that you will probably be able to run Windows Plugins on Mac through Unify Pro. Eciting.

YEAH so is. When skipy tried massive x in one of his videos, I don't know which one now, I remember seeing how he tested it by having massive x on the laptop and controlling it from unify on the main computer.
It is one of the first videos of Unify and he commented that this feature would be present in the pro version.
