If you could only use 3 or 4 VST's from now on, which would you choose?

Does the apQualizer have a dark mode? I would prefer that to the bright white background.

Izotope nectar 3- EQ. As a clean go to eq because of the dynamic and follow mode feature of the eq.
Track Comp DMG (Every flavor of compression)

Theese 3 for sure, if I have to limit myself. Which I do, But I limit myself in more categories. 1 clean digital go to eq. 1 clean digital go-to compressor. And 4 modeled comps and eq each. Bus Comp, etc

    Tough to choose more now.

    Probably
bx_townhouse or the glue (Bus compression)
omnipressor or Opticom XL3 a (parallel compression)
NoiseASh ruleTec or bx_2098 as modeled EQ

Probably and for the time being:
    • Compressors:
      • MellowMuse CP3V (best 1176 soft emu I know of and I know some/most of you won't believe me),
      • ToneBoosters Compressor v3 (for quite some time I was totally into LDC2 Compander (opto) until I found out that I can reproduce its sound with this one and its even more versatile, smaller, cheaper and needs only 2,5% of Compander's CPU consumption),
      • Voxengo Deft & Marquis (Deft sounds like FD-Grey which is supposed to be modeled after the SSL 4000G Bus compressor (VCA), but Deft is more versatile, Marquis sounds like FG-Red which is supposed to be modeled after Focusrite RED VCA compressor but Marquis is also way more versatile)

    • EQs:
      • bx_2098 (very versatile saturation, sounds nice, Neve emu),
      • DDMF 6144 (my go-to analogue emu EQ, sounds different than 2098 but also Neve emu),
      • DMG Audio Equilibrium (THE digitial universal weapon, absolutely clean, free phase mode!),
      • TBProAudio DEQ6 (can't work without a dynamic EQ)

    • Reverbs:
      • all four Valhallas (Plate, Room, Shimmer & Vintage) (covers all you probably need, Room can use ERs only)

    EQ: Dmg Equilibrium
    Compressor: Boz Manic Compressor
One algorithmic reverb like Valhalla Room

Using Manic Compressor as Multiband Compressor and Equilibrium as Graphic Analyser:

Yo guys, would be cool if you could write something about why you choose these plugins and what makes them stand out for you. Having lists is nice but to someone who doesn't know all of these names, they all sound the same.

    Right,
Massive because, Massive. This synth really is a weapon. You can achieve anything with it, love the sound, not CPU hungry, millions of presets, millions of tutos, a sequencer, great arp, you can almost LFO anything.
Sylenth1 because really CPU light (I use 5 instances for my livesets, on a laptop and a lot of other VST instances opened, and I can tweak it without thinking about CPU usage... There is not much VST's that can do that), simple substractive yet complete synth, the sound is great with a few FX (or not). I make most of my hats with it too. Same millions of presets for inspiration, it is very tweakable yet not too complex.
Serum for the same reasons than Massive, plus millions of custom wavetables easily downloadable. Sound quality really is crisp. Love the filters.
BazzISM because simplicity, the sound is just amazing, great integration with Live, in livesets it is a beast and once you heard it on a big soundsystem you can't just fall in love with it. CPU light and easy to tweak live.

    For the FX:
Color copy is a grat delay. There are a lot of them, but this one is simple, yet full of options, and sounds really great. If not Color copy I would go for Live's stock dealy which is amazing.
Breverb2 is a really good reverb. Otherwise I would go for Valhalla or Toraverb. Toraverb is on a send on every one of my livesets.
Pro Q3 you can read millions of reviews online : for myself because it is a surgical EQ. Can't sample without it
Satin because it is (one of the) greatest tape saturation plugin out there, and CPU friendly. I keep instances opened while paying live. Which you really can't do with T-racks or kramer tape without risking the CPU crackles. (Not OK on a soundsystem)

Jam Origin Midi Guitar, Amplitube 4, Camel Audio Alchemy with all the soundbanks, STW Audio Reflex Pro for all the delays and modulations and Ozone (5) for mastering and reverb. Just five. Less of this is impossible for me.
