I'm obviously doing something wrong as the MAAT theQblue and DRmeter VST3's are showing up in the plugin finder but have "error" next to them. I installed the R2R Waifu (to default location) as the directions stated but still no luck. Do the MAAT VST's have to be in the WAIFU folder? Any help getting these working would be appreciated.

 

Same for me with MAAT DROffline MkIl. Seems to be crashing everytime I start the standalone app. I've looked at the logs, it does a license check which all works well and good, but the log states its interrupted when it validates the presets, which apparently aren't the same, thus cracked version doesn't work for me.

 

To be honest it seems like R2R has been trying to disavow V.R a lot by claiming their releases wouldn't work. V.R releases have been working just fine for me and if they didn't work, V.R usually releases a revision rather quickly. In addition V.R usually provide lots of extra presets and you won't have to deal with keygens. I remember having had lots of trouble with u-he releases from R2R while I can't remember a V.R release ever bombing.

Never had a problem with any R2R release or V.R either. And I have more than 50 plugins installed. All recent Algorithmix stuff works without a hitch too. Maybe some of you guys should just keep more order on your computers? Especially not randomly piling one stuff on top of the other?

 

the first r2r yes you can read in nfo bout...

usually vr only bypass protection....they have more u-he rls which bombed....much much more..

how much hours you did use a single uhe plug ?

for the rec vr was starting chebs bout keygen...you kno..
so now r2r does not hold their breath on true reverse engineering issues..

 

Both EqBlue and Santa Cruz work in Reaper but I have no presets in either

 

For me all the MAAT Digital plugins are working fine and presets.

V.R is still good at what they know but R2R release warez the correct way in my opinion.
R2R make keygens and emulators to work like the original application does..
Rather than touching, hard patching a sensitive file in the wrong way.

V.R in most cases I've seen are patching the files which is more Illegal and not vanilla.
Software uses more CPU and Memory when patching/cracking something in the wrong.

 

I extracted the the setup files it did not come with presets for the ''eq's'' not supplied or mistake.

C:\Program Files\MAAT\SantaCruzEQ

add folder called presets when you save it will land here

 

When it comes to VST instruments I almost only use u-he plugins.

That's all bullshit imo. In the end, their releases just work. I think R2R has "lost" many users to V.R because not only do they crack plugins faster and make installing them easier but they've also found ways to crack plugins which R2R couldn't crack. Instead of giving V.R the props, they recrack plugins they weren't able to crack before and try to convince users that they've done it "the right way" while in reality, they've taken V.R's idea/discoveries and implemented them in their way of cracking plugins.
Kind of reminds me of coping audio engineers. Whenever they see successful kids/young producers who have a good ear for tunes they try to badmouth them by pointing out how bad their mixdowns are because the kids have something they will never have: talent.

Recent??? May I ask you the exact releases' names and dates because to me the most "recent" ones are dating from early... 2008.

The only thing I will not consider as complete bullshit in your comment is the fact that (a few) young people are indeed very talented. And for making me laugh so much, let me quote you as one of the most brilliant examples of what our young talents are capable of achieving.

VR plugins may work but they not working right to someone that knows and can see whats really going on.

You ask any one of those audio plugin companies you love and even they have to respect the way R2R do the thing to them.

 

Wow, you are very badass that you managed to install, not 50, but even more then 50 plugins from R2R and from V.R. you must feel very special right now


I am just saying that I cant install it due to crashing of presets. R2R is aware of this problem. I quote from their recent MAAT SantaCruz EQ:

NOTE : SantaCruzEQ has issue in preset handling in the GUI. Legit version has
same issue. Saving/Recalling in the project does not have issue. Just
stay away from Preset Manager in the GUI.

Lastly good luck with the V.R. releases.

Good news, I uninstalled the plugins, deleted all the files associated with them, cleaned my registry and reinstalled and now they all work! The blueQ doesn't have presets, so I'm not sure if it just doesn't come with any or if that is an issue on my end, but regardless they work!

 

Can you remember what you had for breakfast?

 

r2r do wibu emu wtf...
vr just bypass protection and never touched codemeter...they tricked and bypassed to more or less buggy autotune , more cpu hungry..
but vr rev did bring cubase with help of zaka und momo...
