Hi all !
I am trying to restore some old projects made with cubase on windows xp 32 bit back in the days (with very old plugins no more supported in the 64 bit world .

now having a macbook pro, I thought to create a windows 10 32 bit vmware virtual machine DAW where to install old cubase / old plugins with sound card usb-passtrough direct connection (m-audio m-track) in in order to use the asio drivers on cubase 5 when needed

everything seems to work perfectly and quickly, guest VM recognizes the sound card and cubase sees the asio m-track driver with low latency, but when loading the projects and setting up the audio out (out1 / out2) no audio comes out from the card (neither headphones nor speakers)

Any clue ? Should I discard this crazy option and purchase a second-hand laptop ?
