Recent Cashmere release blocks AudioZ in Your Host Files

    I think this is fake, like the latest cashmere releases since she‘s gone.

    Does the plugin even work?

    the plugin work perfectly so far, it has been post on other sites before Audioz. just a personal revenge i think.

    Here's what i know so far:
    there's been a post at AudioZ called "KORG TRITON v1.0.0 macOS-CASHMERE-HAPPY NEW YEAR", made by new member "cashmereleaks", registered with the same email provider that was used for cashmere's double accounts. the post has been put on hold now, but it already collected two pages of comments, some of which stated that even though their hosts files have been changed after installation, they were still able to access AudioZ.

    i'll be investigating this situation further, until then you can follow @tr3v0r94's instruction:
    Code:
    Go to terminal and type
sudo nano /private/etc/hosts

Scroll down and delete the audioz entries, ctrl x out to save!

    and if this is true, i'd like to remind everyone that so far Cashmere still haven't returned any of my messages.

    Cashmere posted it yesterday on other site. Then wrote this comment and deleted that post too.

    Cashmere : Seems the audioz swine has infested this website too. No more shares for good.

    Vinney is correct with his statement. BTW, I used to be a heavy Mac user but have switched to Win10 about 1 1/2 yrs ago. Occasionally, I still have to use the Mac for work purposes. Anyway, Cashmere is one drama queen to say the least and it would be apparent to all the Mac users if they weren't so hard up for new releases. I've been around for some of the best crackers and never once did they charge a penny and frankly their cracking skills would make Cashmere's head explode!

    She told us million times "No shares for good" :deep_facepalm: and still searching for websites where she can earn money with her releases:hillbilly:
    And she wants that her releases don't reach Audioz, but it is impossible!

    Just to complete this partial explanation:

    Some "clever guys" created 2 websites faking that they were R2R official websites. Obviously R2R didn't liked it, so they clearly explained it in their .nfo and obliged to block these sites in host document for their releases to work.

    Cashmeeere (if it is made by her) did this, without clearly advising people who were going to install her material, so people who have been supporting her are blocking AudioZ without knowing it ....

    But what if this release had been created (or modified) by somebody else to ruin her reputation?
    The Windows version was released by R2R and in the UPAWG is no trace of CASHMERE's release.
    Also the structure inside is not CASHMERE's style.

    I'm wondering the same, she normally includes the original installer with her patched plugins, but not in this case. This is a clearly modified installer similar to the p2p versions for Kontakt & Massive X.
    The patch is still working fine.

    Just some facts:
    R2R version got posted on sister site at 20:37
    Mac version was build at 21:18
    I'm just wondering how this could be cracked, as the Win version requires to install TEAM R2R KORG Software Pass Emulator to run.

    I'll have a closer look now.

    She released the same file on audio love site.. I dont think its a fake Cashmere release
    I think we should learn to modify her packages in the future.
