The plugin worth it that much?
Or is it like Gullfoss you end up not using or using 1% of it?

A lot of people tells that is a game changer, but actually, it is?

It's a great plugin, if you deal a lot with vocals it really helps. Take a look at another plugin that is also very useful called MSpectralDynamics by MeldaProduction.

i grabbed it on sale for 99, tbh i didnt thought ill end up using it so much, but its a problem solver.
ive used it on guitars and vocals alot, but also found it useful on many other things (i also use it for mastering if high frequencies sound a bit harsh and the client cant/doesnt want to change it in the mix, with high sharpness and selectivity and max ~3db of it wokring its working like a charm)
I definitely use it more than gulfoss, mainly because i still dont really get the hand of gulfoss, sometimes i regret buying it into the hype, but sometimes i thinks its great... that doesnt happen with soothe, soothe is 100% good

 

It´s not bad but there is cheaper stuff with similar functions

broski what are you even talking about rn? LMAO sorry but as a owner of RX, Nectar, Neutron and ozone they have nothing to offer that does anything similar to what Soothe does man, have you used soothe yourself? these plugins you offer really dont do, or TRY to do anything remotely close to what soothe does
im not saying soothe is magic and always worth a buy, try it for yourself and see, but these my dude... have nothing to do in this thread

 

yes this is quite nice, however i find the interface throws me off and i have to really dig in hard to get the right settings, and with soothe its easier.
i still cant afford myself to get soothe so i used the demo but yeah

 

Check Cockos Reaplugs. It has Reafir, and that has compressor module. Very similar result and FREE. But Soothe is FFT monster, nothing can beat it.

I just saw a video about it so yes I didn't used it .... ilok Protection for an EQ ... that’s so stupid that I will never try.
(One license allows activation of the product on 2 machines good companies offer at least 3 activations. Or unlimited.)
Also there is no version of it on sister side for obvious reason.


Ozone got a dynamic EQ with for me similar functions. Maybe the video I watched was BS² but this plug seems to offer nothing new to me.

It promotes its self as a

So it's some kind of EQ in the end.

But I understood it's different because it follows the flow
of your track

 

Bought it a while ago - awesome tool to have if you're serious about mixing.

 

I have it. It works great, I try to avoid it because its a little resource heavy and I like fast renders. I wouldn't call it an everyday plugin but as a last resort nuclear option it always gets the job done when other methods fail.

Gotta say it's very entertaining to read the Soothe threads, this must be the most requested plugin of the recent years, and it always sounds like some kind of magic tool. It's gonna be such a relief and exhilaration when it finally drops.
