Pro Tools 12 Installation Problem

    Version 12.5.0, when I try to install I get the installation menu but there is no progress. I’ve let it run for an hour and nothing happens.

    The order in which I’m being told to install things in is as follows

    1. Install Pro Tools HD 12.5.0
    2. Install Avid Effects
    3. Install Transvst Enter Serial Number
    4. Install Transvst Fixer
    5. Install Pace Drivers Only If Needed
    6. Install QuickTime Only If Needed
    6. Browse Installation Media

    I installed QuickTime from this menu and the installation worked fine so I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong when it comes to installing Pro Tools b

    Win10? Maybe it doesn't work no more, there have been major updates from Microsoft since the Audiotopia version, almost 5 years ago. Anyways, follow Avids' official guidelines for PT: http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/en_US/troubleshooting/en349411?popup=true
    Disable Defender and other AV & firewalls, install as Administrator in Windows. Also can't hurt to download again, maybe the file is corrupt.
