I have a issue, I downloaded the 61 GB of SDX Rock Foundry for sd3. I try to add the sdx by going to sd3 settings --) Library settings --) Add path (something like that its top left) then I make the path to the folder with the sdx. I press the folder and press ok. It doesnt say there a re no sound files but it just does nothing basically. The sdx came with a sd3 library update and a sdx rock foundry update aswell. I ran the library update but cant run the sdx foundry update but dont know if its needed.

I'm running v3.1.5 keep in mind unless you are starved for space on the data drive id let all library folder live in a centralized folder IE. main folder (Mine is called "SD2") and in this folder lives all separate library folder SL-rock/SL-Blah blah blah etc. it helps loading times as well

I removed "The Rock Foundry" to look at what happens when i "Add Path".
When I "Add Path" and browse to my path (H:\Daw Lib TT\SD3) not much happens on the screen, but it flashes very quickly and when I scroll down I see it in the list.
    ------
My download of "The Rock Foundry" is 1.0.1 and had a "Sound Installer".
I have the 1.0.2 "update" with "Sound Updater" for "Full Mic Setup" & "Mono Kit".

But I have never had a problem even just copying the folders from the "Contents" folders to my TT library folders.
In my TT Library folder I have "EzDrummer" for all my EZX & Midi, and a seperate folder for my SDX packs.
I named mine "SD3" because I did not install SD2 this time.
    -------
Q: So, you do not see "The Rock Foundry" & The Rock Foundry Mono Kit" when you click on the libraries drop-down?
Q: And when you click "Manage Libraries - Open Settings" you do not see "The Rock Foundry" in the list there either?

I have the 1.0.2 sound installer aswell but when zi click the toontrack download thing shows up but can continue I only see a dot but cant click it. I cant add the sound files to the folder where all the other sound files are because I already have sound files that are called number 1 to 30 I believe. By the way I have no sound.stats file in the sound folder of the sdx, maybe that is it?

You mean you have no "soundstats.dat" file?
    For The Rock Foundry:
The 1.0.1 package I have contains 41 "soundb##.obw" files and one "soundstats.dat" in the "Sounds" folder.
    The 1.0.2 update adds "soundb42.obw" & has a "soundstats.dat" file as well.

For The Rock Foundry Mono kit:
    The 1.0.1 package has one sound file "soundb0.obw" & a "soundstats.dat" file.
The 1.0.2 update only has a "soundstats.dat" file in the "sounds" folder.

Run the installer executables as administrator. ("Sound Installer.exe" for the 1.0.1 & Sound Updater.exe" for 1.0.2)
If for some reason you can not run those (or they fail) you could just copy the contents of the "SL-RockFoundry" & "SL-RockFoundryMono" folders to the proper location, and copy the "midi" folders to the proper location.
But if they fail it raises a question about where you got the packages (do not post links here),
or what is different with your system or your procedure.

I am not sure what you mean when you say "toontrack download thing". I have no idea what that means.
You "can" continue? or you "can NOT" continue? (I assume you can not continue, as you can not click on some dot that you see.
Again, I have no idea what dot).

If you have further problems, write down what you see on the screen or take a screen shot, and write down what actually is in your folders.
Do not simply "believe" what you have or what you saw ...make SURE of it.
Vague or incorrect information only makes it more difficult for anyone trying to help, and may cause some to avoid trying.

I downloaded it from a russian site that has everything for sd3 (wont link) from the download I got the folders: sl-rockfoundry-sdx and library update windows 102 and sdx rock foundry update. I ran the library update and that worked since it gave me stock presets which I didnt have. The rock foundry update doesnt work even when I open it with administrator it does open but I just the toontrack download page with a dot. And I cant do anything. I dont want to use the mono but the normal one, but idk where I need to place it and I cant add the sound obw files of the sdx to my normal library sounds since I alreadh have those numbers as obw files.

Running the SDX update as admin? Can't recall if that matters on this one, but worth a try.

Search for the folder with 41 sound obw and sound stats, then add through sd3 library path. Sdx update not needed
