I have tried the USB isolator and it worked for me. They sell a slower version, and a full speed version. The slower speed should work and is half as much. The one that worked for me is pictured in this thread above and can be found at hifi.me

Solved! Hi guys, I was having the same problem and hearing the same noise and after trying different options I unplugged a midi keyboard that I had on the same usb hub and the noise is gone

Found a solution (for anyone going through this kind of issue): as I could not find the usb isolator/filter thing, so I tried some plugins:
    1) Izotope RX spectral noise: did the trick attenuating the noise, but too cpu intense for a live situation.
    2) equalization curves (stock eq) with very steep Q: did the trick, but there was a change in sound character (less bright, less mid range frequencies), but no latency and no cpu hit. Was using this for live situations until...
    3) izotope rx de-hum: did the trick. Removed the noise, no perceivable change in sound character, no latency and little cpu. Will stick to it.

An example ( with board pictures )

These isolators also lose usb transfer speeds, you can cut the ground wire but this leads to other issues ( no ground to dump to)

    YMMV
