Hi everyone,

I don't know to much about tablet, i'm looking for one only to get my song directory on stage, we have to much songs and paper does not suit us anymore, but I don't want someting that is lagging when I turn the page, but something very simple and effecient.

Also, is there an app for musician to organize there repertories ? To make a setlist with word or pdf file ?

Any actual tablet will fit your need. But make sure it's big enough to be readable on stage.
About apps I don't know.

 

Why not use word processing program like MS Word or OpenOffice and export a pdf?

Check out Jordan Rudess from Dream Theater. He uses a tablet for reading music on stage and flips through the pages of the songs with a foot pedal. Search for his rig rundown, I've seen it on his older ones.
