Say that I want to make my custom transient sound. What ways do you suggest to do so?
I know what transient is. My question is can transient be reproduced with volume automation on any sound?( Is it sudden peak in volume automation? Or should some fast pitch variation be added )
Note that I am not looking for transient designer or shapers which do things on already existing transient. I want to make my own transients for customized sounds.
Whatever you know regarding this subject would be appreciated.

You can create transients in many ways. Fast pitch envelope is one way. Fast filter envelope is another. You can add a fast (decay) noise oscillator. You can layer any transient you want (hihat, very short clap, etc). Basically any sound that has enough higher harmonics.

I'll pass on the "you need a sound to sculpt"
So yes the best way will be to combine fast pitch , filter, and amplitude envelopes.
You could also add wave manipulation envelopes, ie. Put a fast envelope to control ring modulation, or FM, phase etc...

I want to know whether there is a way to synthesize a clean robust transient!

It the same as synthesizing any sound? It depends on what you want :) A "custom transient sound" can be anything, a simpel click, or somethging more complex like a fast fm sweep... endless posibilities

this is a nice topic to think about,

in order to create transient with automation, you'd need a DAW which can do sample accurate automation, and make very precise automation movement (I don't doubt that is beyond what human can do realtime, so perhaps some automation envelope automator or pulse modulator could do that),

as a general idea behind making own sounds, believe me layering sounds is most likely enough even for your needs - this time it' more tricky because you're aligning transient of multiple sounds to produce creative result (do note mixing more sounds changes result waveform and transients often in unexpected ways for inexperienced sound designer),

another approach would be to make a regular hand drawing stuff and then using some advanced time/pitch shifting algorithm adjust its length to just the transient, but I doubt it would work that easily...

As others have said, layering with a nice clicky sound is a good approach.

If you want to experiment then you can try these, I've used both to good results.

    a) A resonant envelope filter (or autowah), set to fast attack and fast release, high resonance (though smaller amounts can work fine) so that the envelope becomes a sine wave triggered by the input signal. Route these in parallel and play with the cutoff and envelope depth controls.

    b) A fast gate (I use Ableton's built-in personally), again fast attack and release with fairly high threshold, mixed in parallel. This only lets the transient of the original signal through, you can then distort it slightly to to give the signal an edge and some boost.

If the gate has lookahead, use that if not you can delay the original signal by a few samples if you run into phase issues.

The challenge you're going to face is to make a transient that forms a good symbiosis with your sound.
Instead of synthesizing, I usually pick appropriate transient-rich samples and add them to get a sharper attack and somewhat different/better character.
Sometimes, copying a short attack from the sound, then EQing + applying an envelope to it and finally mix it in phase with the original sound will give you great results too.

Utterly unbeatable is the waves hand-drawing tool.

Yes (amplitude envelope). Or pitch envelope, wavetable offset envelope, filter cutoff envelope, noise amount envelope, saturation amount envelope, etc etc.
