    That's excellent.
Please share any educational material like this .
    It is appreciated.
There's a lot of variety in what can assist people in learning the ideas, and what can reach people on a journey to learn or even to get inspiration.
I been exploring these ideas with more advanced theory also trying audio and video ideas with artistic concepts as well.
I been trying out different things but also having the goal of it being of a high quality in a artistic way .
Do that it's not just educational but also its own art
( So the education is like old concept albums etc)
Trying figure it like claymation ideas if I can figure out how to use real objects the cgi look can be corny .
Here's one that is got some ideas in that area that I like the mixture of sound and visual

Here are some of my inspiration for content creators and also different ideas for getting the information out with combinations of video audio and spoken information as well as visual charts etc.
    I'm studying these presentation techniques
( Not single video but the whole channels per listed video)
I'm also studying film making itself for future content
    ( It's hard stuff lol )

    https://youtu.be/OlOjRqQMrFg
Just to give a little idea these I could think of off top of my head just as general topics I been covering.
I am 1.5 years into my independent research study on film making .

Just give you an idea what I been studying
Some things I thought off top my head
If course the videos just give a glance into concepts
    They not very extensive.

Some of the issues I have bumped up against during this process . Of course just the amount of variables involved time it takes without a large team .
    Funding location etc.
I have sat down with few investors on a few occasions where it wasn't going to work out because they wanted too much creative control .
( That was just those though)
So far I have never created a product to sell online such as ebooks education material . ( Which I may need to do to get the funding going.
I have gathered up quite a few individuals specializing in areas , once I can afford to pay them.
There are things I still need to copyright trademark.
Iv looked into bussiness plans and options for starting corporation etc.
I do eventually want to take warehouse build a legit ( yet ghetto ) television studio .
It's all still foggy as of now ( except for the information end content and vision in general ).

But the vision is the unification of all art forms into 1 .
With music education as the main expression.
( A true Art with the message being music education
Tv shows that feel real movies that feel real music that feels real video games and VR ( except music education is the main topic in the expressed art )

I'm okay with the fact that it's been a long term thing nothing rushed .
But I feel it can positively make an impact of how we in society view entertainment in all areas moving into the future.
( Entertainment with true meaning and value )
For example , even though my vision is to do this specifically with music education it could be applied to anytype of education.

Some great feedback from doing these threads here , I get from people is when they participate with this information presented in this text format they play it themselves and self discovery and they learn quicker as opposed to watching a video but only watching And listening so that was unexpected but makes sense. I'm trying to figure out all the variables .
I believe with all art mediums effectly combined potentially could be so entertaining and increase participation that the potential for the speed of learning music could be dramatically increased.
( Looking at the research science involved in area of music education and it's mediums )
Forgive the sloppy writing it's a busy day but I feel compelled to write here haha.
I'm not worried about making personal profit with these things just enough to cover expenses so I'm looking into non profit as well .still figuring things out .
I want to keep the final delivery here at audiosex.
( Except for the video hosting whether YouTube or another etc.)
It's figuring out how to pay for it and pay the people involved so they can make a living , while creating a new blueprint for unification of art and education
( My interest is music education , but imagine it could be applied to any .) And I don't mean propaganda I mean of the arts .people of all ages no matter income being able have access premium art education for their children and themselves and then a open source gallery and sharing of what's created.
Take for instance VR applied to holographic interactive education . ( Ive been working on some things here but it's so damn slow for me being one person I cannot spread out too thin at this point )
But I feel like it's going to have to become a type of non profit organization or corporation just hadle the scope of things and people involved .
It's difficult to articulate how I picture some of these things as it's not like anything else I have seen going on but shares smaller attributes with many other things .
So I decided a while back I have to put together things on a smaller scale doing it myself to get it moving along and that brings me to now with the areas I'm researching and then things I'm trying out and testing ideas for the first sets of audio and video .

    Dear Mr T,

I took your brilliant 'keep it simple' advice " Ya hit the white notes, then you hit the black notes "

and the philosophy I seemed to be getting from you is "Take the piano and 'BEAT IT'"

    I think I'm making progress.
I had to figure out a few things though...
    - When and where to hit it. (it seemed to take a bit more precision than you suggested)
    - How to go loopy.
    - How to make it look simple (when it ain't).

    How am I doing ?
    Regards,
    Peter Bence.

    Couldn't agree more.

@Gyro, It's sometimes tricky for me to figure out whether you are being serious or sarcastic.
In this case I think 'serious', and I do hope 'serious' because the video you posted is very nice.

I really do love educational videos that are aimed at young kids ( 'IF' they are educationally well made, and not just cute)
    - I love learning from them myself.
    - I have absolutely zero embarrassment at learning from kids stuff, dummy books, etc.
    - If it's educationally good stuff then give me more, more, more, please.

One of my friends daughters has music classes at school, so she's learning to read music notation.
I have sometimes helped her to understand the theory behind the notation.
At an early stage, she knew which notes were which on the staff (E-G-B-D-F on the lines, F-A-C-E on the spaces, etc)
but she had no idea about note duration, timing, etc, what did all those funny squiggles really mean?
I showed her the two videos below, because...
    - They are educationally very effective,
    - They are beautifully well made,
    - They are far better than any explanation I would have provided for her myself.
As a nice twist, her dad passed the videos on to a friend of his who's learning to play drums.

  8. This is a common diagram most guitarists are used to seeing. That makes it much easier for some people.
I cannot find it anymore, but there was a really good and simple video on youtube that was designed at beginning guitarists who were having problems understanding the melodic minor (and modes).
It basically said to the ones that knew how to play a major scale to flatten the 3rd and there was the melodic minor - it then went into the modes from there. It used diagrams like this.
Using this above diagram you supplied of the Lydian Dominant it did 5, 6, b7, 1, 2, 3, #4, 5.
I could see for someone new to the modes how that might be easier for some people.

    Hello my friend,
    Yes this is true.
Here is my preferred guitar chart I put together and will be using in order to show the jazz theory information applicable to the guitar neck .
    upload image

You can see that it is a universal chart.
It shows the natural notes as well as enharmonic sharps and flats.
This type of chart, I have found lends itself to be read easily .
Download it and zoom into to see the detail level.

Now, I will demonstrate an example using it

    Key of Cmajor .

    C6 chord CEGA Cmajor6

    Set of 4 strings middle

    I'm
Using my Galaxy Note 9 pen on the guitar chart for demonstration

Here is same thing except C6 Voicings on the top set of 4 strings each labeled

baby girl names starting with jo

Finally , here is the C6 chord on the set of 4 bottom strings .

This comment box took me 5 mins to create that's including the drawing of the charts.

In this comment box I have demonstrated

The Cmaj6 chord across the entire guitar fretboard .
( Each voicing is labeled by the bass note)

  10. I am glad you are using pictures - it's a good method to combine imagery with writing so people can associate.
    Go for it. :)

    Thank you friend ,
At this moment I am beginning the new thread
Secrets of guitar a CodeBreaker series
Which explains music theory information applicable to the guitar neck.
I hope you stop by and hang out and share your thoughts my friend .

I agree with it, however I believe in a different order for example tonic subdominant and dominant
    Should be taught first .
Example. Once you know that you can play any type of chord that fits those 3 functions .
So with tonic in C major
    Cmajor
    Aminor
    Eminor
Are all the same thing and sound the same ( but each have distinct flavor )

    Here another thing

1 of first things to do is learn how to
    Take a diminished 7 chord,
    So Bdim7
    BDFG#
Then turn it into every other chord type by changing one note at a time .
    BDFG# Bdim7 BDFA Bhalfdim BDFG G7

    CD#F#A Cdim7 CEGA Cmaj6 ACEG Amin7
    CEGA C6/ CEGA# C7/ CEGB Cmaj7/CEG#B Cmaj7#5
    ACEG Amin7 ACEF# Amin6/
    ACEG# Aminmaj

Do that with every Diminished7 chord

when i started to digest these things they fast answered stuff i was already trying to accomplish and even managed to achieve on my own, but without any formula it was mere happy accidents and self-made "theories" that took 100 times more to get to.

it's like getting up in the morning and not have a clue where your clothes are and not even knowing where to put them on your body, every freaking morning. a total waste.

then of course once you know those basics you can choose the colors and textures and even if you want to wear your trousers on your head! but then its a premeditated artistic decision, not the product of crude ignorance

    Thanks @Rorer,
A very neat bit of priceless history.
We are all forever in debt to the kind of innovative spirit that Scott de Martinville shows there.

But hey - still a reckless post!

Firstly, did you ask MMJ permission before posting the audio version of his theory notes?

and, secondly, did you stop to consider that next year's trendiest plugins will now all be trying to emulate
that bit-crushed authentic phonoautograph vibe? Heaven help us.

Yeah, I can't say that I've never run into that type of hubris in other "genres" of musicians, but it's just been my apparently unique experience with many a Jazz/Blues/Soul jam being populated by egos with legs.
That aside, I'm not sure what you mean by an accompanying band at a jam session. I'm in the U.S. and have played at jam joints and bars from New Hampshire to Texas to The Pacific Northwest and I've never seen an accompanying band at a jam session--and it's all true jam sessions here in the PNW, which becomes a lot of fun when you have multiple people who play multiple instruments, thus getting a round-robin of musicians on any given instrument. Way too much fun.
And for the record, I'm not poppin sh*t at Jazz artists, I'm just kind of burnt from watching/reading music books that tout Jazz as the end-all-say-all of artistic achievement while belittling other forms of music, or subtly writing them off. And yes, I know that elitism is not written as a prerequisite to play in The Jazz Scriptures, but the elitist attitude has been in a lot of my studies as of late and, as someone who has played in Blues bands, Metal bands, makes Hip Hop and plays a mean kazoo, it gets tiresome. :suicide:
So, nothing against all you Jazz Cats; I know you're not all bad, that's just been my unfortunate experience in the field. :shalom:
