Snap2HTML Software Utility - used in conjunction with Netlify

"A great prog for sharing directory structures (and logging them) is Snap2HTML"
That is a quote from @DoubleTake, found in the thread he started here...
    https://audiosex.pro/threads/toontrack-drums-midi-folder.51204/

Snap2HTML is a free, portable, and very useful software utility.
Some other members @demha and @jorzef wonderfully demonstrated how useful Snap2HTML is.

I'm wondering whether this could be really useful to many more people?
So, I started this thread just to further broadcast these nice utilities.

Here's a copy of what I said later in the above thread...

    ============

    Just for info...

Re: the stand-alone html files that @demha and @jorzef produced using Snap2HTML

It was great to simply download them from zippyshare. Thank you very much.

Then, just out of curiosity, I was wondering there are any easy ways of hosting files like that in a way that's similar to (for example) hosting images at imgur.

I found this site netlify.com and ran a quick experiment.

    Here's what was involved...

I signed up for a free account - hassle free - then tried a quick 'hosting test'

It required me to do this...
    - rename the html file to index.html
    - put it into a folder
    - drag the folder to my free netlify account
    - and that's it; it worked

It generated a randomly named subdomain in netlify (for my test it was youthful-bell-0d0a93.netlify.com)
and it allowed me to rename it to something else - I chose snaptest-01.netlify.com

and now anyone can use this url https://snaptest-01.netlify.com
and it works just fine, I can now see that Snap2HTML online.

I haven't found any snags or issues (yet) but I only did this about ten minutes ago just to see what would happen.

I can't immediately see any easy way for someone to download the html file.
So, that would be a hassle or an advantage according to requirements.
Personally, I would much prefer to carry on downloading the Snaps from zippyshare
but I thought this was interesting to explore.

    Cheers

    To Moderator:
you moved my post from "Software" to "Internet for Musicians".
I am NOT complaining about that, but I do think you may have assessed it too quickly.
Snap2HTML is a free stand-alone software utility that users can exploit on their PCs.
Most definitely 'useful software'. I've since edited the post to make that much clearer.
The fact that I am also discussing exploiting the outputs from Snap2HTML in an online way means
'yes - the topic is also about Internet'
But the main utility is Software, and I think it's actually better located under that heading.
How might someone best place something in both categories? Is there a standard way to do that?
