I have listened to some of his songs but to be honest they never got me sticking around. As I was growing up I always preferred Tupac, Eminem, Dr.Dre, Ice Cube, Big L, Rakim and all the other usual suspects. Now I even like artists like The Weeknd, PARTYNEXTDOOR, the entirety of TDE (Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Isaiah Rashad, Schoolboy Q, SiR, Zacari, Jay Rock, Ab Soul) and my most recent 2 favorite artists, 6lack and Daniel Caesar!
I truly appreciate your honesty though, hopefully my future projects will resonate with a wider spectrum of listeners, even the biggest old school heads haha!
    Thank you!

    Thank you soooo much friend!
You filled me up with a whole bunch of new ideas now, that's priceless.
I am not what somebody would call the sharpest knife in the kitchen but whenever people hit me with ideas such as these, my mind gets to work!
    Appreciate it, truly.

Of course, I'll go ahead and write them down for ya now as embarrassing as that might be for me like I mentioned in my initial post but fuck it, it is what it is!

I f*** on your bitch when I want.
I slam on that throat when I'm gone (faded/unconscious, cause in a conscious mindset i'd never think that way, bad alcohol influence lol)
Got you feeling a way, while I'm f****** your bae but you're still out there (outchea) taking her home.
Just hand me my check and I'm gone.
This funny shit ain't what I'm on.
I won't say it again, the shit that you're playing, ain't the same shit that i'm on.

It's that raw intervention, get your hoe in check cause she be drawing attention.
I'll never stop, don't interrupt my ascension.
I got your city locked, I got you ducked in defensive. (boom boom boom boom boom, /facepalm)

Ain't no lie, I never felt this way, she got me feeling crazy all day.
I swear I didn't want to end this way.

    (Same Rap/Unorthodox Hook/Chorus)

I hit raw, she got your mind playing, you don't even know where she staying
I am just saying, the way she throw that pussy back she ain't playing.

I know I know, just give a brother a break, I just started writing ahahahah.

    dope!

    congratulations.

don't worry about the lyrics, once you're finished thinking that "everything has to be perfect", you move on, keep producing, and one day you will turn back & look at your career and find out that it's just a piece of the puzzle.
you audience will determine which song is a hit a which song is less than a hit

great fit for a soundtrack imo.

waiting for the album, now

That's really comforting to hear (read) black bounty, thank you, for real.
Woo, did I just read the word album?!?! Hahaha, that kinda intimidates me at this period of my life but damn, I hope one day I have the balls to create an actual album, one that is thematic and really makes sense as a big picture.
Thank you again for showing love buddy!

    Thank you for your effort.

I already expected something like this. This matter has been discussed here a lot, but I don't know enough about the background so I don't know what to make of it.

About the music, a pretty good job. :shalom: Could also be your second track. :winker:
I think it's too bass heavy (freq wise) even at lower volume, the snare is too sharp at high volume and the vocs could be more upfront.
I played a bit around with it and could quite easily fix the first and third but sadly, this also sharpened the snare even more. :(

And thank YOU for the feedback No Avenger!
Yeah it's a matter that needs to be discussed, in art especially since genuine intention in my opinion is of outmost importance.
For example, I personally wouldn't want to listen to something that has been specifically ''manufactured'' for a specific reason ( which most of the time involves financial gain ), but that's just me.
I like the music that I listen to to be close to the artists heart, wether it is vulgar or delicate to the touch.
Of course everyone has their own distinct taste so at the end of the day it is what it is.
Thanks again for showing up and dropping some knowledge, I'll definitely keep those technical issues in mind.

So you probably wouldn't listen to a lot of singles I co-produced back in the days.

That's the one which sounds most convincing, imho.

Well, I wouldn't mind checking them out haha!

Yes, conviction, I believe that's a great asset to have, take it from the most legendary actors out there.
I have always admired Samuel Jackson for his conviction. Always made you feel like it wasn't a movie you're watching but you're just peeking through a window. ( hope that didn't sound weird, I am not a creep I promise ) ahah

Sounds like a hit to me... my personal preference would be for a more hype bridge, maybe use of double-time drums or something with a build/drop. A little more energy modulation throughout.

Yeah nice one. I like the diversity singing/ rapping. Makes the auto-tune very effective. It's not new, but it takes a good rapper meeting nicely processed vocals to work. You pulled that, good for you.
The mix indeed is far from being optimum. All in all few stuffs clash with each other, specially in the lows and the mids aera. Wouldn't take much to gain in clarity and have the vocals pop out more.
    Nice work.
