So, I just stumbled across a new Behringer product, being a Eurorack case. I thought when I bought my Model D it was a bit weird to have the eurorack ribbon power cable and fitting etc. However, now it all makes sense!

Behringer are just releasing their Eurorack Go Case, which actually seems pretty neat for someone wanting a simple, small and non~Zimmer/Deadmau5 type of setup!

However, in the video they tease their new Eurorack synth modules, showing a filter module. I would imagine they will probably be breaking down their clones into individual modules so people will start to be able to do things like use the Model D oscillator module with the K2 filter module and so on to create their own custom synths based on cheap cloned components.

As someone who has wanted to get into Eurorack but found the cost of decent modules prohibitive, I’m actually looking forward to this and hope they do release a decent set of all types of modules using what they’ve learned and implemented into their cloned analogue synths!

I just pray behringer to have soon a polyphonic prophet emulation...
I'm saving money for a rev2 but if behringer makes it first, I might go with them.
Hopefully their monopoly will be as good as the original one.

And who knows, might get into eurorack train too for that ambient sequenced thing mama love so much!

I love Behringer and my Neutron but as a studio rack, I would leave my Neutron in its case and just use the rack for modules.
Seems ineffective to mount gear that already has its own power supply and I/O's in a rack unless you are playing live with it.
And if you are playing live you would want a hinged lid option to protect knobs, cords, etc as well as an armadillo build.
If the price is low enough I'll buy it for studio use. Wouldn't drag my gear around in this on a snowy day here in Canada.

Behringer has done it again. We ask and it continues to give us what we want. The only issue I foresee with its semi-modular synths is the effect it would have on the existing warranty. To save us some speculation, I will contact Behringer and try to obtain a documented answer.
