How did you embed the wallpaper inside the nicnt file?

 

You don't.
You put the wallpaper in the mapp under the nicht mapp

 

Open .nicnt file with inNKX plugin for Total Commander, create "Resources" folder if it doesn't exist, put your wallpaper there and call it ".LibBrowser.png".

Edit: Sorry, I'm an idiot, inNKX doesn't allow you to edit .nicnt files, you have to make one from scratch or unpack, edit and repack the existing one with a new wallpaper.

I know that. Do it all the time. In fact, I know you can "override" one that is embedded with your own by including it in the same folder.
I just thought he literally meant he embedded it.

Like I said, you need Total Commander and inNKX plugin for it. TC is free, you can easily find it on google, the plugin might be a little harder to find because it's usually on a russian site.

After you have both installed, run total commander, navigate to the library folder, open the .nicnt file and extract (or drag and drop) all the files to any temporary folder, in "Resources" folder replace the ".LibBrowser.png" file with the wallpaper you want.

Now to repack the files back into .nicnt all you need is to navigate in Total Commander to the folder where you have extracted the files, select them and go in top left corner Files - Pack (or press Alt+F5), then in the new window on the right side in the "Packer" area choose "nicnt" from the drop down menu, press Ok and you should be good to go.
At least this is how I do it, maybe master @celtic3342 knows a better way or can give some advice.

 

Generally right with Ikagura. Mi way is a little easier.

1. I use a template made by @Xupito.
2. As I finished all the old SNPID numbers from 001 to 999 and 1-9/a-f (4387 possible combinations including all libraries previous to Kontakt 5 that don´t appear on Service Center folder but only in Content inside Registry), use any other combination. Beginning for 01g, for instance. It would give you 7 million combinations. Ridiculous but you have the option. Template from xupito is SNPID jsy. I didn´t test but have no reasons for doubt about it works.
3. In all cases, changing wallpaper.png by .LibBrowser.png (dot included)
4. Creating a new nicnt and with INKX extension installed in TC for nicnt, nks, nkr, nkc and nkx extensions, open and drag & drog wallpaper renamed inside Resources folder.
5. Inside template based in Jaeger, open Jaeger.xml with notepad++ and make all necessary changes. Name, RegKey and SNPID. Save.
6. When back to TC, app ask for save changes. Yes and done. Change name of the template to new name after closing TC.
7. Add Library and you can see it on tab. I first check 5.5.2 version and later 6.2
8. At least in libraries I tested, it also works in powered by NI libraries.
9. One more time and don´t say more times, I don´t know how it works in MAC. Not a MAC user.

That´s all. Easier than it seems.
