funny asus brags about their super copper capacitors with an average 50000 hours lifetime, but wont provide w10 drivers. well, the board has been continuously running since 2013, so i really shouldnt complain.

 

Funny thing you mention that, I've been able to work on Windows 10 in about 15 minutes - install the OS, install audio interface drivers, graphics drivers install themselves in the background, install DAW and plugins, done. It does not take any tweaking at all and you most definitely don't need a custom version from some shady russian website to be able to do your work. Never had to remove Store, telemetry or Cortana and never felt the need to disable updates. It works, you're coming up with problems that don't exist.

 

Np, surely you can do that. You may also want to go to work driving a tank, doesn't make it convenient. Personally, i love me some shady russian iso lol.

Sure it works. Not that the forums are full with a gazillion tweaks to get rid of the bloat. And all that soft to do it easier as well, is a mirage. Bloatware's good for you after all. Not that giving up your right to privacy will help bring up a new generation of e-slaves. Naaahhh, this is funny stuff. I guess all those still on Win7 are also funny. you tried if the clones are bootable ? Last Time i tried it wont boot here.

 

I have a Komplete Audio 6 USB interface whice works perfectly fine with 32 samples latency on macOS. As soon as I boot my hackintosh into Windows 10 I get strange audio glitches in sound after a few minutes.

If I block Maschine 2's Internet access on windows and try to start the program it gets terminated immediately and I'm greeted with an error code. As soon as I lift the traffic block, it works again - like magic - just by Microsoft. No such behavior on macOS where it's blocked by little snitch.

I'm interested in this win10 lite stuff. Where can I find it and can i use my legit key for it or better not?

 

I'm interested in this as well.. planing to update this old machine (i7-2600) from win7 to win10 and looking for normal k'd win10 pro, the non-lite non-mod version. If anyone so kind to PM me with advice and guidance of knowledge would be appreciated.

I am zero knowledge on this subject, my only concern is I don't want suddenly in future it will break the K'd.

 

So, at some point you will want to download a suitable W10 ISO, and make yourself a bootable USB drive from that ISO.
I've always found this to be a nice way of finding genuine Microsoft ISOs (from Microsoft) even some ISOs Microsoft prefers not to show you.

I think you can download the legit way an original iso but just in case I won't post here. Pm me if you want more info. Well, before me you better PM @taskforce , @The Pirate , @No Avenger , @Pinkman, @Talmi, @vaiman or simply @Olymoon . I'm very lazy helping people, they aren't

The thing is if you download the original iso you must also download the updates in windows catalog. And it's not trivial the first time.
I sometimes check out the (full) pirate versions descriptions just to be informed of which updates are good and necessary (true history lol).

You can start with KMSPico, it's the easiest. Later you can switch to KMS38 (aka microsoft activation script), the best one but you need to enable Windows update and stuff.

Well, if you're always connected and with updates enabled, use KMS38/MAScript. Best one for Windows 10. Activates Office as well.
There's nothing legit about windows activators lol

 

I don't have anything against the wonderful KMSpico approaches to activating W10 but I still prefer what I thought was common knowledge.
i.e., if you're running an activated W7-Pro or W7-Ultimate (even Hactivated using DAZ) then updating it to a free legit W10 is straightforward.

I've done this on dozens of machines since 2016; the most recent one about a month ago.
It will be interesting to see whether it dries up after W7 EOL next month.
I'll be doing it again sometime next week, so I'll update here if it's still working or not.

As a routine procedure, I will install and Hactivate W7 entirely offline; that's a procedure that will continue to work forever, W7 EOL will not kill that at all. Then with W10 ISO burnt onto a USB, upgrade W7 to W10, watch W10 get activated online (has never failed yet but who knows for how much longer that step will work). Then I obliterate the whole machine and install a fresh W10 from that bootable W10 ISO USB. Because the platform now already has its digital entitlement on Microsoft server the new W10 is immediately recognised as activated. No need for any KMSpico stuff (unless / until you start talking about Office, etc) the W10 platform itself is fully legit activated.

I have been expecting this arrangement to stop working for at least 3 years, but as I said, it was still working fine last month, and I'll let you know how I get on again next week.

Yes, I have made images of a laptop and restored to to other similar models and they boot ok. Make sure you use the correct BIOS/UEFI boot setting

 

nerver had that issue, maybe you blocked access to the NI daemon running in background ?

 

As @5teezo noticed, free dl of win10 lite straight from the oprekin's webpage requires access to your own gdrive and i understand not being willing to give that info away. Therefore, i am uploading the latest oprekin iso Windows 10 Pro 1909.476 Lite Plus v3 to a Google drive of my own. Anyone wanting to dl/check out this iso, pm me and i will share with you. Beware, this is a Win10 Pro modified iso and i haven't had the time to test it yet. If i can judge from oprekin's previous version though, it will probably work flawlessly, but i have to warn nevertheless.

Ok I was able to fix it with Farbar Recovery Scan Too. It shows teh whole config even hidden items and let you remove them !
Awesome tool. That makes me now 'less nervous'. But besides that my BIOS seams to be fucked up from using multiple OS on separate SSD.
When I attach my hackintiosh SSD now nothing happens the system even freeze before getting into bios or bootmenu.
It only helps to do a hard reset (hold power loooog ) multiple times ?! @tzzsmk event had such kind of stuff with your hack /windows

 

I'm afraid I've seen such problem few times, and it was ALWAYS sign of dying SSD,
you may check some boot related settings in BIOS (fast boot, ehci, xhci handoffs, sata modes etc..) but first I'd suggest testing the drive in different computer (even if it won't be hacky compatible, you should always be able to reach clover bootloader at least - if you use it)
