A few updates about what I've found over time after trying maybe 50 more tools on MacOS.
They are the best for how I work, your preferences might be totally different of course.

    Basics:
    https://www.devontechnologies.com/support/download
XMenu: Unobtrusive version of the classic Windows Start Menu, easy to configure
EasyFind: Quick search utility for local files, supports multiple search strings

    https://github.com/jbtule/cdto
cd to: Open terminal in the current folder shown in Finder (very useful for sox, mplayer and any commandline activity you're up to)

    https://www.publicspace.net/ABetterFinderRename/
A Better Finder Rename: The most powerful file renaming utility I have ever seen, includes RegEx, file numbering, calculations etc etc

    Fast and good audio players:
    Colobri https://colibri-lossless.com
mplayer* http://www.mplayerhq.hu/design7/news.html (Important: Install "mplayer-osx-extended" using homebrew, search online for how to install and homebrew on MacOS)
MPlayer also plays more file formats than VLC!

    Audio file processing:
    ocenaudio https://www.ocenaudio.com
    sox* https://sourceforge.net/projects/sox/files/sox/
Whenever you need to process huge lists of files or do more advanced stuff that common audio editors like Audition, SoundForge or Wavelab don't support, sox is like the modular system for audio files.
Insanely fast, insanely powerful but some learning time (and online search) required.

    * means: Command line utility that usually has to be run from Terminal in the folder where your files reside.

Thanks for the info, thats a lot! I am quite familiar with some tools you mentioned, like easyfind, sox and homebrew. Sox runs beautiful on OS X compared to windows. Will definitely test some of the applications you mentioned. Though you can configure "open terminal at this folder" native through spotlight?? I think it's called. Anyway google this for some crazy usefull sox scripts: "sox site:https://github.com/coderofsalvation" without quotes. Cheers.

Anyway, I was also looking for DSP Quattro version 4. If anyone has it, please pm.

Little Snitch once saved me from a 'drive-by' malware incident, where just visiting the page (as I had) was enough to receive the malware.
But of course LS warned me that something wanted 'in' to my computer.
Conversely, LS will also reveal if you already had something nasty 'on the inside' which was trying to dial out.
    All hail Little Snitch!

Meh. I used to edit my hosts file...until I found Little Snitch.
Way more versatile re. varying the allowing or disallowing of something.
And no need to keep re-editing the host file.
Whatever works best for the individual, eh?

There fore i wanted o ask if anyone has some tips and tricks to make OS X more comfortable. I installed spectacle, a free app, w auto clicker word unscrambler jumble solver hich basically does split view like in windows. But other then that, I find OS X still a bit of pain in the ass to use... For example, opening multiple finders is really cluttered, and I just came to the conclusion that I can close these cluttered finder windows with apple key + w.
