As I live in a share house currently, I'm not supposed to make a big noise for my neighbors. I can sing but can't sing loudly. Several days ago, I recorded a song with low volume and tried to boost the dynamics in DAW, but it was not easy. The vocal sound obviously has a lack of dynamics. Especially, the chorus part. It sounds like a choir of zombies.
So, I'm wondering if there is a mixing technique for that.

The important difference between singing at low or high volume isn't the level but the sound.
When you listen to halfway modern music you can hear that the vocalist have almost the same level no mater how loud they sing, but it sounds differently. Sadly, there's no plugin or technique which can emulate this difference.

Hard to tell, you should post a part of your recording for analysis.

something to experiment with is light coloration like distortion, adding some subtly might help a bit, not full on distortion (unless thats what you want) but combinations of distortion and compression in some parts can make it almost appear like you're singing louder and give more impact and sometimes makes the lower parts sound better too. You probably have to process the verses and chrous differently. Many people do this

As far as I know, you boost the dynamics of the vocal by doing absolutely nothing to it.

Dude, Niruvana, I gave you a like just for the incredible sig. :)
