Win 8.1 ist der größte Rotz den es gibt
Grade Zahlen bei Windows sind waren und werden immer die Schlechtest sein

Bin auch kein Freund von Win 10 aber auf Dauer kommt man da kaum rum (und den Applejüngern gings ja jetzt mit Catalina auch recht dreckig Ich sag, nur wenn selbst NI empfiehlt nicht upzudaten)

Die Verison ist eigentlich Wurst so lang es nicht "home" oder "s" ist
Ich verwende ein Win 10 Pro


wichtiger sind die richtigen Einstellungen

Einerseits die wie man es gern hat (Klassisches Start Menu etc)
Anderseit Windows Updatestopper. (Wobei alle halbe Jahr sollte man trotzdem mal ein Update ziehen) Antispy Programme (Um es der Datenkrake M$ nicht zu leicht zu machen)
Wobei da der Rechner ja sowieoso nur im Intranet steht wäre das nur wenn der mal ans Netz geht wichtig.

Wollen wir einfach mal hoffen das Linux Support weiter ausgebaut wird . Irgendwann kann man mit Bitwig und Reaper auch unter Linux vernünftig musizieren (Man sieht ja, das da schon recht viel passiert, wenn noch die Plugin Hersteller nachziehen würden wäre das Top)

I've been testing tons of versions past years since october 2014, before Win10 was even released for public globally,

Windows 10 is a big mess, basically you become beta tester and have no option to say no,
current software and hardware developers are basically not supporting anything else anymore (so forget about 8/8.1 right away),

since you're probably on Win7 right now, at first make sure EVERYTHING you have now is compatible with Win10 (especially motherboard-related stuff, audio interface and some software you don't/can't upgrade further),

then, although LTSB/LTSC versions of Win10 are somewhat more friendly, they are quite obsolete (1607 and 1809) and we're now literally 1912 so IF you are planning to stay on some version for at least year or so, then definitely look at regular PRO versions with number 1909 or at least 1903,

debloating Win10 is time-consuming error-prone process, so whole idea of having sort of "LITE" version can always produce unexpected results,
I'm planning to test some LITE 1909 PRO this month, as it probably becomes my secondary OS to occassionally use (my primary OS to use is MacOS, funnily enough it's less troublesome and far more reliable than genuine Windows 10 on very same hardware)

last but not least, Glasswire is a handy app which can handle behavior-based network blocking of every individual application/process, which imo is essential tool to use with any Windows version nowadays (on MacOS it's LittleSnitch or HandsOff apps basically)

OH and most importantly - IF you don't see a big reason to leave Windows 7, just keep using it, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, and it will (hopefully) NOT disappear in january when Microsoft ends its support

 

polomo. du kennst dich gut aus wie ich bemerke und bist auf dem neuersten stand . linux finde ich super meine online rechner verwenden ubuntu und mind. ubuntu ist super was den suport betrifft.doch treiber für audiocard interfces sind ein problem .
welche tools brauche ich um win 10 telemetric hickhack zu deaktivieren .gibt es eine anleitung wie ich win 10 configuriere für audioproductionen .muss ich win 10 activieren ?

bin im große ganzen ganz zu Frieden (Perfekt ist nichts .... außer man programmierts selbst und wer von uns hat schon die Zeit dafür ) mit den beiden Programmen

Gegebenfalles wäre auch die Möglichkeit mal das ganze als Virtuelle Maschine laufen zulassen oder besser noch als 2 Partition . Sprich dual Boot Win 7- Win 10
Außer ein paar Gigabyte Speicher Frist das auch keine Ressourcen .
(Für paar speziell Sache wie die doofen Windows 3D Ordner die keine braucht muss man leider doch recht komplexe eingriffe in die regs machen .)

for beginner, I'd suggest his "LITE PLUS" variants, which are not that much debloated, but there's more likely nothing important will be missing ;)

selbst bei den lites kannst du noch viele services auschalten die du nie brauchst..saves threads ,ram and cpu

btw..ich brauch kein waves 11 oder die 2-3-4 super new mixing plugin algos...im on 7

haette aber nix dagegen eine win10 lite gyro gearloose proper zu haben...wie gesagt selbst die lites fahren noch zu viel services und stuff was man noch nach bearbeiten muss-kann-sollte..

also unterm strich - warten bis eine brauchbare win 10 erstellt wird.
win 8.1 - hate ich mal kurzfristig weil mein mainboard win 8 features unterstützt .was das bringt? mehr performance ? habe nix gemerkt .

klar bleib ich auf w7 . 7ist ne super primzahl .doch man sollte früh genüg anfangen erfahrungzu sammeln mit win 10 und deren performance
mit audiotreibern und daws plugins etc.
