Presonus are due to release Studio One 4.6 tomorrow 04/12/2019 12pm GMT.

Searching for new features and possible leaked links has proved inconclusive so we'll just have to wait and see. As for a launch party, not really sure ones needed for 4.6 but maybe if it had been version 5.0 it would have made more sense.
Surely having a launch party would indicate something more than a maintenance update with a few updates for Presonus live mixers thrown in? One can only hope.

I would settle for a legacy mode, with v3 buttons/inspector and v3 color palette.
Who was the genius that thought a professional working several hours a day would enjoy neon colours opposed to easy on the eye ones? lmao

They really need to improve the whole sequencer, I can program drums lightning fast in cubase but S1 is annoying when you want to go deep with the drum editing. The whole pattern thing they tried is ridiculous. I doubt they'll do too much in the sequencer for this update but it's really one of the only things I miss from cubase (besides the Logical Editor), I've been tempted to go back to the base but so far it's just a hollow threat to myself

My wishes are mostly for macOS version,
On win all this work more or less fine:

    1. stability on macOS (really childish bugs)
    2. better performance on tab management side, tabs are too slow, I can count seconds
    3. support for metal (macOS) - lot of users can notice sluggish graphics
    4. plugin sandboxing (why trashy code from plugin is allowed to put daw down?)
    5. one light theme with more shadows not too flat and not like logic garage band, somewhere in middle
    6. automatic thumbs/preview or generate button for third-party plugins

Anyway I'm happy with Studio One 4.5 and above.
    What are your wishes?

    its kind of peculiar really
an event! for a .6 update? and sponsored by red bull?!

I just hope its not like the last blooper presonus staged in their "BIIIIIG anniversary announcement". it ended in the announcement of a sale, 15% or something like that. it was pathetic

I just hope its a real update and not an offering of "red bull points" in your local store or a darn sample-store plugin.

as long it is a regular update, real features an fixes of the daw, ill be happy.
    not many hours left now

I recently got a faderport 16 , and with it, neon color make finally sense, sice it has RGB LEDs which can't display all shades of colors. (really shocking mysself that I write something positive about the colors)

the 4.6 is just +0.5 step from the current v4.5.5 , why so much fuss about it? :dunno:

is there going to be channel / track templates for AUDIO and VST, a feature that will recall a template of your favorite VST instruments or audio tracking channel with ALL the vst inserts??!! if not then fuck em and their v4.6
