Skip the batteries. Plug the synth PSU directly into the power socket.

 

Download some really good stuff from the internet, then just put your name on it.

only rule of DnB is you need kick drum to be fairly high, higher than most people think - only that way you are left with enough frequency space for solid bass low-end

To start get xln addictive drums, xFer serum, fabfilter bundle, & checkout native instruments,then watch a few youtube videos & load up your daw & see what happens.

Most importantly enjoy!

Set your tempo high. Between 155 and 190. Slice up some drum loops (preferably your own) in a sampler that responds to midi notes (which is basically all of them). Now drive that sampler with multiple arpeggiators.

 

You'll be rocking that jug band in no time!

 

i would say forget it when you ask like this...this not trap or cheap kit 4/4...

no vst for chopping breaks...
ableton is the drum monster...

and you can use evrey synth you want for basslines and stuff

Depends what kind of dnb you want to make but here's a suggestion, get Serum, Massive, Reaktor, FM8, Omnisphere, Fabfilter, Trackspacer, etc and grab drum libs from GoldBaby (yeah name is kinda lame but the sound kicks ass), watch some yt tuts and have passion for what you make but if al this sound complicated better start to learn the basics of harmony and then start just with stock plugins provided by the daw you have chosen.

 

Get an Atari 1040 or 520, an Emulator IV classic, and mad skills.
