I have the majority of FabFilter plugins on OSX which are all K'd however, I'm looking to buy Pro-Q 3 as it's on sale and the latest version isn't K'd - will I be able to run the legit version alongside my other FabFilter cracked plugins?

I've seen the thread on here about Windows but I'm not sure if the process is the same for OSX

i don't see any reason why it wouldn't work as far as the last fabfilter is still using serial.

i'm guessing your are joking, but in case you are not, legit in this context obviously mean an official version of the plugin bought from the developper, not a Cracked version provide by someone else let's say..

 

You shouldn't have any problems. Go with it. Don't worry. FabFilter, as any of the good developers, don't give you shit. I love this company. You can use everything without any dirty tricks until you're ready to pay for it.

But I must admit the idea of having ToneBoosters plugins for the same price is absolutely tempting. Reaper plugins plus ToneBoosters plugins make a great combo. You don't need anything else to make great ITB mixes.

Thanks. I was hoping that discount would be more than 25% Pro Mb and ProQ are good plugins but 111€ and 126€ ... is too much money for me.

what was new to this update compare to you K'd that you absolutaly wanted to buy? Or was it a way to support the developper?

 

I was looking forward to buying this plugin as I use Pro Tools and its not k'ed for PT. Anyone interested in sharing a legit license? I can share one of my legit plugins license..many of which aren't k'ed.

 

I've seen a lot of people swear by toneboosters. One of them being @( . ) ( . ) but also lots of people on various other forums. Clearly a very good value

I gotta admit though I love pro-q3 and probably would buy it again if i had to. Once a digital EQ or dynamics processor is transparent enough that it's not making things worse (and at this point, the majority of them are that good), it's all workflow. And nothing does workflow better for me than Fabfilter.
