Another hint : you can use drag and drop directly from the send slot section of the mixer below the fxs slots, from the track you want to send from to the track you want to send to, in order to send to auxilliaries (reverb, delays) sidechain or even midi sends (for example from an arpeggio midi tool to an instrument on another track). Then by simply clicking on the send slot you want to edit more thorouly you can change channel it uses to send through, pre/post fader, change the volume, pan of the send, etc.

 

the new Theme Adjuster is great step forward tho..

Has Reaper done anything about that nasty plugin UI wraparound? That was the most off-putting for me. Otherwise I was impressed with the small install footprint, features, etc.

i'm at my best when using cubase 5 and ableton. don't need depth, bells & whistles.. just need an easy canvas so i can do my nonsense.
i think the fact that reaper so customizable/full of tricks I kinda think I'm not using it properly.

therefore end up going on silly "creative" tangents that I usually abandon

ableton crashes a lot but you never lose anything. reaper with all it's sauce still hasn't got that feature. if it does crash, c'est fini

 

Like all Daws it will autosave as often as you want, not that it has ever crashed for me.

 

Reaper has crashed on me a whopping two times over the course of the past ten years. I usually get that within a day or two in Studio One.

ableton company members are multinational...but i kno what you mean...italy comes hard,france and sweden but when you would do in numbers under the line it would show something yes heh heh...or many company in usa are g tech initiated or bought over like our good mercedes benz which is now christler or how its written , fck it..lolz
