I agree. Very easy to achieve in geist 2 by using the loop playback mode, and you can set the view of the sample in beat rather then time, so it's easy to get the loop end locked. With its sequencer features, the repeats, it's done in seconds.
But if he is used to do it with a delay plug, maybe he finds it easier...

Thanks, I just tried 608, but the modulation seems to be limited to filter effects.

Here's an example of how bouncy sounds/works:

That's why I originally suggested modulating the loop end point (loop length).

Richard used modulated "loop end point" (AKA loop length). It's the same as Bouncy's modulated buffer-size (from the endpoint). Try it in your sampler.

You could also do this with MIDI plugins.

Hail AFX (one of my biggest heroes)!

Samplers are magical. You just have to study the manual first [I can hear some people gasping lol] and get creative. One can do incredible things with just a handful of samples. I can suggest TAL-Sampler for this, and whatever else you can come up with.

Very much so! You can assign shitloads of LFOs and envelopes to a bunch of parameters and create something very complex out of something simple. People will think it's a synth. Heck, you can load single cycle waveforms and use a sampler as a synth. It's all in the creativity.

TAL sampler is very nice. Cool filter section. But I think Vember Shortcircuit 2 (and v1) is my favorite. It's a monster inside an innocent looking plugin (even if it is still a beta version).

Yes, that's exactly how they made their intro. :)

Thanks, Ultratap does it! I wish it had as much flexibility as bouncy does (like reverse bouncing) but it actually does it!
