What kind of music do you make? Reaktor and Serum are my main weapons but im trying phaseplant right now. You can get as creative as your mind will let you with those synths,

I would try a FM synth its a great addition in sound possibility something like FM8 and not so hard to learn

    Free FM VSTs

Reaktor is a really great synth but in my opinion the hardest one ever created. (It's like a programming language)

On the Picture you can see what's a more easy to learn and what's more hard to learn. Reaktor is a modular modular Synth (Even the modules are modular :winker: )( or in technical terms a Nodes based Synth) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Node_(computer_science)

    that´s for sure
But with more versatility, synths become harder and harder to understand.

Serum is the overall best for electronic stuff with endless possibilities
Wavetables from PNG pictures everything it's so so crazy.

    Meh Serum can't do anythings
It's a quite versatile tool but there are some limitations like:
    Only 2 Oscilators + 1 Noise/Sample
    No Granular
    Limited FM (reason few operators)
    Hard routed Ways of Synthesis.
    Many other things....

I know Serum is great in many things but its not really endless.

    ..you haven't learned sylenth yet...? {this is an actual question because it's a fully capable synth engine; promise no sarcasm}

maybe try a piece of hardware that can show you what parameters actually mean?

tbh I bought this thing back in the day because it was like controlling a spaceship

-your line of questions.. . maybe try something hands on?

I would recommend Uhe´s Zebra, lots of good sounds and good expansions available. Once you manage Sylenth and Zebra try Omnisphere, for me the best of all soft synths.

It´s a really great synth. Maybe a more complex one but with all kind of cool synthesis Stuff
Only bad thing for me is that Urs do sales very rarely (And I know sistersite etc. :))

    love it

Sir you got a great taste in soft synths

Zebra and Avenger can both do multiple things well. Def worth consideration

I'd go with Synapse's Legend and pick a random XILS synth (except V which is a bit rubbish). They're good for scratching that synthesis itch, both are less generic than Synlenth; weird and interesting.

Recd Reaktor is a bit like saying: "oh Kontakt is a great synth" almost - prolly better to recd a Reaktor ensemble guys?

I would get you something with wavetable and sample capabilities that's kinda where I see the future of music going right now
