I have updated to OSX Mojave and now I find if I install a new plugin Studio one doesn't register the VST portion it will register the AU though, never encountered this before, before Studio one i disconnect from the net as I have always done, can anybody help this weird one please

 

Have you ran the Plugin Manger to re-scan Plugins ? If this doesn't help enable "scan plugins on start", once scanned you can disable it again

 

thanks thats the very first thing I tried , still doesnt scan vst though only AU

 

you verified teh vst path in teh settings ?

 

everything verified all paths correct old vst registered before mojave upgrade still work, but still no joy

 

Just realised the VST3 plugin section of plugin scans perfectly fine, so its just VST2 that doesnt scan, all paths are correct as older vst2 do still load
