    Hi folks

So so Kontakt libs come as pkg files and need to be installed eg. ProjectSAM Symphobia 4 Pandora

If someone wanted to install this on an external drive, I'm thining that the UI jpgs etc would install to C drive, meaning that the library data on the external drive cannot simply be used on other pcs?

Ie. Is it right one would need to copy all of the jpg / resources from wherever these are installed and paste to any other pc you want to use it??

    Thanks!

Given you are using a k'd version of Kontakt:
The UI and scripts is incorporated into the library data that will be installed on the external drive (wallpaper is in the .nicnt file for newer libs or as wallpaper.png). You should be able to open it on any PC.

Only for old libs there may be a need to copy UI pctures into the Kontact directory bay hand or with the setup (e.g. into c:\Users\Your name\Documents\Native Instruments\Kontakt 5\pictures\" in theses cases you must refer to the setup instructions for the lib)
I installed all libs to a NAS.
    Works flawlessly.

You're welcome. If you plan to use the libs not only local but outside your studio on a laptop, don't hesitate to ask, I#ve got some tips for that.

Just what @twoheart say. You may want to mark his answer as best answer, a useful yet unknown feature of this forum.
