I'm just curious as to what VPN all of you are running and what made you choose it over the endless sea of other providers? I'm seeking a new VPN to replace my Protonmail VPN as it's seems to significantly slow my connection speed. With gig internet and my VPN enabled, it's reducing my UL/DL speed by 80%

I used Windscribe for a long time, and had good luck with it. Recently switched to ExpressVPN as I find it very efficient at geo blocking streaming sites and whatnot and is fast as well...

Betternet. Modified it a bit so it won't update. Seems to work well, no significant speed loss.

I Used Express, IPVanish, Nord, Pure, Tunnelbear, Cyberghost, Vypr, Betternet, HMA, Windscribe, Surfshark, Kaspersky Secure, Opera, Hotspot Shield, Psiphon, Tor, Ola, Dot, Setup, U Vpn And So On. Right now using Purevpn & IPVanish for proxy :winker:

I cracked all premium vpns mentioned above i.e. none of any premium vpn services belonged to me, i just changed their email/password or stole activation code to use it as my own :shalom:

"I've IPVanish yearly accounts, if u need pm me :hillbilly:

the best VPN to use would be one that is based in a non EU / US / NATO member country , if somebody know one like that, please, let us know. :winker:

'' What VPN are you running ''

I have used VPNs for years.

You are not anonymous when you are online using privacy tools like a VPN, even Tor, Bitcoin, etc.

No VPN can make you anonymous, but can at best increase slightly your privacy and security online.

Exploiting an infrastructure with ZERO logs is simply impossible that’s why no VPN can guarantee anonymity,

and this is only the hidden part of the iceberg ...

    Just my two cents.

Thank you all for your responses, I'm going to compare the various options mentioned above and see which one will best suite my needs.

I've actually heard a lot about Opera so that will be the first on my list.

I fully agree ^^^ regardless I do believe that adding even a slight amount of online anonymity/privacy is always better than nothing IMO. My main purpose for seeking a new host was due to speed as I stated. When disabling my VPN I truly experience a 70-80% increase in UL/DL speed.

But yes, by understanding that regardless of what you say or do online, along with your personal information and data trail will *always* remain vulnerable as cyber tech and security continues to advance.

On a side note, I recently browsed through an article on reddit where a group of users were trying to prove how to attain complete/indefinite online anonymity... to me that seems unachievable

That is correct. VPN does not anonymize you but it veils your IP, seemingly altering "your" location (which it doesn't either) by connecting through proxy and serving as a tracking retardant. Its most practical use is to circumvent an ISP's blocking of web locations.
