My dear @taskforce, "thanks" to you... now in my TOTRY geek list:
    - Windows 10 LTSC: even without store, I've read that almost randomly can be installed
    - Windows Server 2019: I just bought today my second SSD (literally the cheapest I found) and I really want to try the multi-tier (in other words SSD caching HDD) feature.

Many thanks! Goodbye friends, tinder dates, ping pong groups, family, porn (wait, that not)... got better things to do fellas... :guru:

Regardless how old people are, I wonder why the good times always end when we're not young anymore or we're already messed up with health, family and job problems... coincidence?

Because as humans it is very difficult to realize the present and celebrate each profound moment in time, expressing universal love within the chaotic and every redefining reality of this dream within a dream within a dream, balancing out the destructive collision of all matter as all mass begs to reunite in fusion to initiate a big bang anew. Inertia encompassing a three dimensional space in a way can be defined as chaos forever eating its own tail in a grand perpetual cosmic dance. All that is, has, and will forever will be, but there are just so many distractions that blind us to the beauty of the red morning sky. In our youth the future is an abstraction, the past nothing but forgotten memories. Being here now is child's play.

    Well, you did ask!

That is for normal Win10 home and pro versions my brother.
With LTSC you can even choose to update once a year and literally the os won't bother you with that sht, once you set it to do so. Hope this clears any misconceptions. To speak the truth you have to try it out for yourself my friend, I promise to soon post a complete step-by-step Win10 LTSC tweak guide.
Oh, as for that start menu thingie, i 've watched you many times mention. I 've tried almost everything, Classic Shell and 3rd party apps free and paid. The best, imho, is Stardock's "Start10". Its downside is it's probably the most ram hungry of all. If you 're not short on ram try it out, it's the most hassle free Win7-like start menu for Win10, needs no config whatsoever after installation, only if you wish to add specific links, views etc. The app is 6 euros, try before buy version is on PB :)
    Cheers

Tone 2 did what he did long before win 10 was released hell win 7 wasn't even out when he started.
If i remember correctly i made my first piracy mistake when i was online and that what also what make me go offline and stay offline for years i didnt even installed network drivers it wanst until Toontrack require na working netdriver in order to work that i had to do a format and install network drivers on my reintsall of Win 7
It was in 2008 when i installed Tone 2 Gladiator later Air made a long list of what Tone 2 did.
Hell that really fucked up my XP so much that i had unplug the lan cable.

And secondly if you had bother to READ ywhat i wrote you would know that they would mostly search for Music (and that means music you listen to not audio plugins and stuff) Pirated Games Office Photoshop programs etc
Oh and what they would look mostly for
Namely piracy downloaded movies which has been the prio NR 1 on their agenda always..
But if you mean soon the good time is over for win about movies then you might be right who knows i dont look or download movies.

Audio stuff is of very little or even non concern here as we are a very little group of people
I can see how people fall for that propganda but i dont understand you buy that crap as i wrote they have used the same tactics since birth of internet..
    Nothing new here..

And as i wrote GO OFFLINE and stay offline how do yuo think they can update you shitty windows then?

Yes the reason nothing happened was that it was predicted well in advance and billions were spent in getting every country in the world prepared. Of course nothing was seen to happen because the problem was prevented from happening.

Brilliant and crazy as always my friend. With some truth also.
Anyways, it was a rhetorical question. The answer is obvious:
Old times weren't better. WE were better so we enjoyed them the most :guru::rofl:

Brilliant, but difficult... do you think I didn't try?? :lmao:

I know, I meant what I said. With LTSB/LTSC is throwing the dice, it's not officially supported but it may work, it may not.

True, but that also applies to the regular Windows 10 Enterprise. Anyways, controlling Windows 10 (Pro) updates is not my main concern.

Start10 is good, especially if you have a powerful PC like you said. But the best hands down performance-wise is StartIsBack. Even gamers install it. For me is a no-brainer since my computer is old as f*ck.

You know more than me in many computer topics, but not in the getting warez area, trust me. Not that I'm proud of it :lmao:

    Well, in a nutshell:

    1) Install Windows fresh and make a system backup
    2) Don't skip point 1. You're bound to blow at some point your windows in the process.

    3) A good anti-win-spyware tool: ShutUp10, WPD,...

    4) A good optimizer/tweaker: Auslogics Boostspeed is a beast. The tweaker paradise. It explains every option, doesn't leave garbage processes and stuff. Almost the only software company I trust for critical tasks.
Alternative: Yamicsoft Windows 10 Manager. Surprisingly good little tool. I bet the developer's Russian lol.
Both of them they care of optimizing services pretty well.

    5) Get rid of Cortana/start menu (resource and privacy black holes) : disabling Cortana is easy, but it still leaves processes running. If you remove completely Cortana the Start menu search won't work anymore. I recommend StartIsback (or start10) for replacing the start menu and disabling Cortana. You can later remove Cortana.

    6) A good cleaner: Ccleaner is very well known, but Glary Utilities is even better. Especially useful for optimizing the programs loaded when Windows boots.

There're very good scripts (command line like executable files) for 3 and 4, but I only recommend them for very experienced users.

There's a lot of other things and you still need to know what you're doing no matter what tool do you use.

    anyone knows oprekin ?
those stripped-down "Lite" versions of Win 10 are rather impressive (700MB idle RAM use for 64bit W10 omg nice!)

There are a lot of lite versions, some of them good some bad. Anyways, one thing is reducing the windows size and another the RAM usage.
I've found myself hitting the wall at 700MB of RAM without disabling important things (LAN, WiFi, etc...)

In a nutshell my friend your guide is great, short and to the point with no crap. I 'd love a more in depth (no add-ons) guide but it makes no real difference and takes much time to do the tweaks by hand instead with something like Shutup10 & Boostspeed. I guess @Gyro Gearloose should be satisfied.
    Cheers:)

That would be using powershell scripts. There are many on github. The most popular is dissassembler's.
Still, a lot to do by hand.

That's a great tool. I have to try it.
Just in case, I should clarify that only Windows 10 original start menu search needs Cortana.
All the other 3rd party ones work well without it using the old windows search. So you can completely remove Cortana.
