so stupid , from gregorian polyphony to beethoven or starvinsky, grooves is always part of music . you can try to remove groove to your music , like remove black or white keys , remove A or Fm , you'll just play unplanned groove or harmony

but when i bring bass,beat and synth to groove which is fckn diffcult or you must be passioned to get it sometimes...this cant be extracted

for me groove is bout the interaction of intruments with tiny offgrid dirt super shizzle not bout playing groove...you must part in rock and 4/4 here too i think..

First of all, let's keep it about this specific thread as generalising does not help for clarity.
In this thread several members participated and gave their view about OP's statement, so you may not be interested but others are obviously.
So as I said, if you see a thread that is not of your interest, how difficult is it to pass your way and go to another thread?

Talking about the perfect example of what to avoid if you want to be groovy, that is one of the most flat beats ever, square to the bone, the whole thing is generic and absolutely forgettable. Even Scooter may seem groovier. Run of the mill Vengeance loops had a bit of swing even back then. This doesn't.
But hey no worries, at least it should be good for aerobics.

i had to record a clavinet keyboardist for a track , we wanted straight arpeggio with no modulation ,the guy was a baroqie specialist, we ended to re record the part with some kontakt , fluctuations (groove) he made were perfect for a XIV century masterpiece, not for a nowadays pop song.
