Silly question, but how could one delete an oboom account? I have never used it hence I don't see any need to have an account with them. Thank you!

 

The first method is, simply dont use it and let it exist. You dont have to pay anyway.
The other method is, go to the support site:
https://www.oboom.com/support
and write them a message that you want your account to be deleted. Thats it.

Yes the support is not the fastest...but they will answer! Wait a while (1-2 days) and they will answer!

But nevertheless, you know about their "remote upload" function, dont you? So you dont need to have a premium account at uploaded.net for example to download everything from sisters site at high speed. Simply import the uploaded links to your oboom account and download from there with high speed.

Ah ok thank you. I will wait for their reply. I initially signed up for just an additional cloud based storage, but I don't need the space anymore hence I requested the deletion of the account with them.

 

for me today (in Croatia), download speed is slow (100-215 Kb)

 

Here (germany) its full speed (6Mbyte/sec...the max. my connection is able to)....Sometimes its also depends on which of obooms servers the file has been uploaded to. You have no influence on it...but s3.oboom definetely is the slowest one!

 

Here in Florida, download speed is at my normal maximum of 160 Kb/s (max spd for my dsl). HOWEVER, uploading is slow to a crawl today and it takes a very, very long time to load my Oboom account folders.

 

Hy guys, just i put a post to looking any site for download links to uploaded and/or rapigator. And one man give me this link.
im create account in "oboom", but i cant find option for put link to uploader, repigator , or others servers premium.
Im only have option to upload files.
Im do it something wrong? or maybe im dont undertand somthing...
any good soul like a angel can explain me?

Keep exploring - it's worth it...

- Choose 'Upload File' (upper right of screen)
- Choose 'Remote from external source'
- Paste your uploaded links into the box.
- Watch the bottom of the screen as your links (hopefully) get transferred to your oboom account.
- After a link is successfully transferred to your oboom account, download it whenever you want (at a decent speed usually)

Tips...

Don't try too many links at once
I prefer to paste about 10 max at a time
it can handle more but it just gets messy to manage the failures.

Use the folders facility well - to keep organised

Be prepared to see some links fail (see list at the bottom of screen);
when that happens just delete the failure and try again.

Some people say it helps to first convert 'ul.to' into 'uploaded.net'
I sometimes do that if a 'ul.to' link fails.

Tolerate its sometimes glitchy behaviour; it's free!

Oboom is not working for me for the past 2 days

Those sites that run crypto mining before letting you download the desired file usually don't work if you block the crypto's web location. And as I just said, they run the shit before they start downloading, so your advice to close the page after starting is useless.
I haven't tried this uptobox yet but they must be not that stupid.
However one thing is sure, I don't want to grill my laptop with the "help" of these pages.
If you have a mining workstation, go for it, but even any powerful pc could suffer consequences with those continuous 100% CPU usage for minutes (that these sites tend to cause), it's really bad not just for your CPU but for other parts, as well. CPU can be throttled by Intel in order not to blow it out but the heat will damage your ram, your drives, your cards.
For me it doesn't matter if a site is honest about this "feature" or not.

I found that ul . to shortened link doesn't work but the uploaded . net link works fine.
Any idea on how to make rapidgator link work? rg . to and both rapidgator. net doesn't work here.

 

having issue to remotely upload rapidgator links to oboom, UL is working fine, do you have similar problem guys? it has been few days.

Try just loading one link. And sometimes it takes a few times of trying.

 

Found this forum upon googling my problem.
I also unable to use rapidgator link, every time I try, it would return "500; internal error".
I think the problem started since the new year 2020.

 

No, it didn't, it's a common issue mostly with RG links. But first check the link in the browser if it's still working.
If it does load its page fine, then you must wait a few days or more as sometimes RG links are not working in oboom temporarily.
